Flick it Eyeliners as mentioned are felt tip eyeliners..they have a quiet thin tip for precise application..come in a standard black pen style packaging..the blue and purple have their respective color ends to identify..

Its easy to use..and perfect to create a wing..the colors are perfect to their names..a deep black and a royal blue..

Sleek MakeUP Eyelashes Review

Sleek MakeUP Eyelashes Rag Doll, Savannah Review

Sleek MakeUP’s new range of false lashes pays homage to feline beauty with eight different lashes in the collection.
Each pair has a unique style with lashings of individuality! Formulated from natural fibres that lends a soft feel and finish.

Each pair comes with lash adhesive for easy, effective application.

MRP: Rag Doll: $5.41 for each pair, Savannah: $5.83 for each pair..all are priced at either 5.41 or 5.83

How to get Cat Lashed!

• Carefully lift lashes from the tray.
• Ensure that the length of the lash is appropriate to the length of your eye, and trim if necessary.
• Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the band of the eye lash. Allow the adhesive to become tacky by waiting for a few seconds.
• Apply lashes as close as possible to the natural lash line, and then gently press down on the strip. The adhesive will eventually dry clear after a few minutes.

To remove:

Hold the lashes from the outer corner and gently peel away from the lash line. Excess eye lash adhesive should be removed from the lashes with a gentle lotion before storing for future use.

I have Rag Doll and Savannah

Rag Doll is described as angled, criss cross effect lashes for a unique effect.

Savannah is described as full, elongated lashes for extra length.

I love the look of Rag Doll..criss cross plus lengthens at the ends giving more volume and length at the corners for that fluttery effect.

Also it comes with added glue..so you can carry it anywhere..if there was one small applicator thing included too, it would be a complete kit.

I tried Rag Doll..sorry it came off from inner corners and does not look neat..the glue dries super fast..and once dried it just does not stay..and they claim it dries clear..but it did not..you can clearly see the dried remnants of glue..I would have liked a clear or black glue..and also that sticked and stayed well.

The glue is not that good..I love the lashes though…I am still in search of a good eyelash glue..any reccos ??

Overall these are quite good lashes in terms of quality..they are made from natural fibres..give quite a natural feel and look too. And there are eight different varieties to choose from..You can buy them HERE

Do you use false eyelashes ? What glue do you use ?

Sleek MakeUP i-Divine Sparkle 2 Review, Swatches

Sleek MakeUP i-Divine Sparkle 2 Limited Edition Review, Swatches

Sleek MakeUP has come up with their new i-Divine Sparkle 2 for Christmas..and this palette is so apt for Christmas and New Year and the parties..

MRP: £7.99

It comes in a regular Sleek rectangular black packaging with 12 shades..

This palette has 4 shimmers and 8 glitters..the shimmers are metallic finish and quite smooth..there is a gold, silver, bronze, copper..and the rest 8 are matte shades with gold/silver shimmer..

These stay on well 5-6 hours even without a primer..and more so with primer..quite pigmented..the metallic being more pigmented..there is little fall out with the matte shades and they also feel a little dry..but can be cleaned easily..comes with the usual 2 sided sponge applicator which is not of much use..

Shades: First Row

Chocolate Penny– Metallic golden copper..very smooth and quite pigmented
Blue Spruce– Matte Teal with silver shimmer..a little dry
Mulled Wine– Matte Cranberry wine with gold shimmer..more pigmented than blue spruce..
Truffle– Metallic Chocolate Brown..super pigmented and very smooth..Best shade in the palette
Mistletoe– Matte Bottle Green with gold shimmer
Illusion– Matte Deep Aubergine with silver shimmer

Second Row

Festive– Matte Deep Plum with silver shimmer..most pigmented matte with least fall out.
Gold Ribbon– Metallic True Gold..but not so pigmented..needs 2-3 swipes
Glitz & Glamour– Matte Charcoal gray with silver shimmer
Tinsel– Metallic True Silver..quite pigmented.
Twinkle– Matte Navy Blue with silver shimmer..a little dry
Starry Night– Matte Black with silver shimmer..super pigmented !

This palette being perfect for Christmas is co-incidentally also the best combination of metallic and warm shades for our Asian skin tones..and perfect for the wedding season currently 😉 I surely recommend this..its a must have !

Here is an EOTD using Gold Ribbon and Mulled Wine..

My favorite shades are Chocolate Penny, Truffle, Illusion, Festive and Starry Night.

Check out the Glory Palette HERE

Sleek MakeUP’s Christmas collection would be available for limited period only, launching on 5th December in Superdrug stores and online at www.sleekmakeup.com

Which shades did you like ??

Sleek MakeUP Face Form Palette Review, Swatches

Sleek MakeUP Face Form Palette Medium Review, Swatches

Sleek MakeUP has come up with new Face Form Palette combining a matte contouring powder, a highlighter and the third being a blush or bronzer depending on your skin tone..they have four variants..Fair, Light, Medium and Dark..the fair variants have a rose gold blush and the medium and dark ones have a bronzer included..

MRP: 8.99£ for 20g

They mention it to be available on sleekmakeup.com from March 2012, I guess that would be October..

This is quite an innovative concept and such stuff which have 2-3 products together or can be multi tasked are so convenient..to carry, to use, finding 10 different things is difficult..and when you need them, you never find them :/

Ingredients:

Find more details about it in below pics..

It comes in standard black Sleek packaging..and comes with a mirror..all the three powder, highlighter and bronzer are soo pigmented..one needs to use it lightly..as it can always be build up later..

Contouring Powder is a matte brick brown
Highlighter is satin finish pale peachy pink/frost white
Bronzer is satin finish orangey gold

Both the bronzer and highlighter have a satin finish but are not shimmery or disco ball types..it can be used subdued or layered as one likes..the texture is satiny soft too..I wonder how Sleek MakeUP always nails it with amazing products, don’t you ?

Natural light
With flash

Pros:

1. Super pigmented.
2. Multi tasking 3 in 1 product.
3. Convenient to use and carry.
4. The qty of 20g would last generations.
5. At 8.99£ for three products, its quite a deal coz their contouring kit and blush separately sums up more.
6. Works as eye shadows too..the matte brown is perfect for crease and blending..and the highlighter for highlighting brow bone.
7. Stays for 5-6 hours without humidity.
8. The bronzer and highlighter are satiny but not shimmery.

Cons:

1. Availability is an issue.
2. Not waterproof..so fades away in humid environment too.

No other cons..this is quite a winner ! Totally recommended. If you are into contouring and highlighting like Kim K., then surely get this..and others who are not but have a chubby face, contouring can work wonders girls..do try

Rating:

Quality: 4.25/5
Value for money: 4.25/5
Availability: 3.5/5

Overall Rating: 4/5

Would I buy it again: I would not need..but yes, if I do.

Have you tried contouring and highlighting ?

Sleek MakeUp Be Beautiful Blemish Balm Review, Swatches

Sleek MakeUp Be Beautiful Blemish Balm Review, Swatches

Full Coverage Blemish Balm Cream with SPF 15
“be beautiful Blemish Balm”

Proving that it’s not just us girls who can multi-task!

Skincare meets make-up: What product can be used as a primer, tinted moisturiser, contains spf15, is highly moisturising, conceals blemishes, has anti-aging properties and provides full coverage? …

Sleek MakeUP’s Be Beautiful Blemish Balm.

Created to protect, moisturise, conceal and prime the skin the Sleek MakeUP Be Beautiful Blemish Balm is undoubteldy the multi-tasking goddess of the product range that aims to brighten your complexion and leave your skin looking, smooth and radiant.
Unlike it’s predecessors on the UK High Street Sleek MakeUP’s high coverage, Be Beautiful Blemish Balm range includes shades specifically for fair and darker skin tones.

What’s inside the BB Cream: Enriched with red algae extract which provides anti ageing properties and protein peptides that work to repair the skin, this tube of wonder contains Vitamin C that
brightens the complexion leaving your skin with a youthful and luminous finish whilst the Vitamin E protects the skin from early stages of UV light damage and reduces the the formation of free radicals that could lead to premature ageing. The jojoba oil provides a moisturising formula that creates a smooth and flawless base, concealing imperfections whilst preventing discolouration and dehydration lines.

Containing SPF15, this multi-functional BB cream not only works hard to nourish and conceal imperfections it also protects the skin from harmful rays.

How to use: Use as a primer or tinted moisturiser to provide an even skin tone and dewy base or build the Be Beautiful Blemish Balm to use as a high coverage foundation.

Tips and tricks: Apply the BB cream and wait for cream to settle before applying a second layer: Apply one layer of BB cream for medium coverage and two layers for high coverage.
The BB Cream can be used as a concealer. After applying the BB cream, spot apply to areas that require more coverage (redness, dark spots, acne marks etc) and lightly pat into your skin to blend.

Available in 4 shades: Fair, Light, Medium and Dark.

Be Beautiful Blemish Balm RRP: £8.99, 50ml

Available from 29th August on sleekmakeup.com

Ingredients:

It comes in a sleek black broad tube packaging with a flip cap..I have the shade Medium which is unfortunately too dark for me..I look toasted in the sun with this shade 😀

But I am amazed with the coverage..it is indeed a high coverage product..and as mentioned can be doubled up as a concealer too using second layer..it stays on for a good 6-7 hours and skin does not feel oily or shiny..you just need to touch up the T zone with powder if you have oily skin..

Here is it..as you can notice the color difference..

Unblended, Blended

The difference may not be much visible..but it looks too orangey in person..

Pros:

1. Provides medium to high coverage..you can skip your concealer and foundation.
2. Stays for a good 6-7 hours..and gives a dewy finish..only the T zone is required to be touched up for oily/combination skin.
3. Has SPF 15.
4. Has red algae, jojoba oil and a few other good ingredients.
5. Does not have a pink or grey tint like the true BB creams and no whitish cast too.
6. 50 ml would last long.
7. Works as a primer too as claimed..it does give a smooth finish and lets the foundation stay a little longer.

Cons:

1. The product gets collected at the opening.
2. Only 4 shades available..and Medium is too dark whereas Light may be a tad lighter..there are 2 more shades required between Medium and Light.
3. Available online.
4. Has parabens.

Overall I do like the texture, smoothness and coverage of the product..one of those high coverage products that give a smooth finish…and can be used as a primer, concealer, tinted moisturiser, foundation..as you like it..I would surely love to try the Light shade, if its not too light for me, that is. I wish SleekMakeUp came with more shades in this..
