OOTD: Powder Blue Jumpsuit

Hi guys,

So I had this powder blue ‘Flying Kisses’ Jumpsuit from StalkBuyLove since a long time, but never got a chance to wear it, finally I wore this to the Oppo F1 Plus Launch event in Delhi.

We were staying at The Lalit and we clicked the pics there. Magali helped me with the pics.

To start with, I love the powder blue colour of this jumpsuit, and it’s perfect for this Spring/Summer. I paired the jumpsuit with my Steve Madden clogs and a deep navy blue Michael Kors sling.

Also my recent addition the new Daniel Wellington watch in Classic Durham. If you don’t already know, I am obsessed with Daniel Wellington watches and have about 4 now, with 2 new additions making it 6. Durham is the new launch in the Classics range of 36mm. And as always I go for Rose Gold Dial. The light brown American Leather strap makes it ideal to pair with a lot of outfits from casual to formal. OOTD: 3 Casual Outfits/Feb Lookbook

Hi guys,

I know it’s been ages since I did any OOTD post here, but I did manage to click pics and a short video when I dressed up. I did not attend many events this month, also was working very hard on the blog and currently happy with the way the numbers are going 🙂 Thanks to my writers and your love and support throughout.

Coming to the outfits, if you saw my previous haul video, I showed you guys the Anita Dongre maxi dress which I got during their sale, the first outfit is that 🙂

Outfit 1:

I am loving maxi dresses and I picked this Anita Dongre maxi dress during their sale. It’s a black, white and orange printed maxi dress which cinches at the waist and flares after the waistline. It also has cutout at the shoulders. Whenever I can’t decide what to wear, I will just pick this up. I paired it with my navy blue Michael Kors sling and watch, in all the three outfits you will see the same bag and watch coz I have only been using this in the month of Feb. And of course my favourite black block heels with gold ankle strap.

This is an old dress, mint and flared. It’s perfect for summers and Mumbai is already super hot and humid, yesterday night was scorching! I paired it with the same shoes, bag and watch as above. You must have seen me wearing this before too.

This is my latest buy, a super comfortable denim shift shirt dress. Again something I can wear anytime and anywhere, since it’s a shift dress, it is easy to wear, walk around, do anything. Just throw it on and not worry about anything.

OOTD/Lookbook: 3 Casual Outfits

I had not done the 3 outfits series since a long time, see previous ones HERE, HERE and HERE

These are the outfits I wore recently for the events I attended, I have also done a lookbook video 🙂

Outfit 1:

I have seen this long maxi slit tops a lot in the past few months, I never found them in Forever 21 and there was on StalkBuyLove which was almost OOS every time. Finally I found this blue and purple ombre slit top and it is just perfect, except for the length for me if I wear it with flats. I absolutely love the fit, comfort, color, fabric, everything about this top and if you are looking for a long maxi slit top, Stalkbuylove has quite a few options now.

A shirt dress again, this time it’s beige, white and black color blocked shirt dress. What I like about this dress is that it can even be worn as a cape. The belt defines the waist and I paired it with the same bag and shoes, but with my Michael Kors watch. I wore this for the Woods new Collection showcase.

Outfit 3:

This is my favourite, bright yellow A-line dress. I absolutely love the lower print, it is quite bright and a statement in itself. I paired it with the same nude sling and my Daniel Wellington watch. I went for strappy block heels since it is more dressy. I was going to wear it for The Body Shop gift wrapping workshop event but I had to run errands that day and this dress is slightly tighter and was not the most comfortable, so I had to change. The only problem is the fit, even though I ordered it as per the size mentioned, it is tight for me. If you plan to buy this, go for a size up.

OOTD: Black Striped Shirt Dress, Silver Loafers

I wore this to the LYN #ShadesOfGrey launch on Tuesday at the Taj Mahal Tea House in Bandra. I love stripes and shirt dresses are my current favourite.

This was the perfect combination of both, while I loved the same dress in white which was anyday more smart but white being see through, I had to go for black. Only problem with shirt dresses I always face is if I go for a bigger size so that the buttons sit properly at the bust, it’s quite loose overall and if I go a size smaller and it’s perfect overall, it always stays a bit open at the bust :/ Sigh. I know a double tape can solve that problem but with this dress, it was just not staying stuck! Also it comes with the matching cloth belt which can help you give the straight fit dress some definition. Sadly the dress is a bit short when you sit, taller girls can wear it like a shirt, I will add leggings the next time.

Anyhoo, coming to this gorgeous silver loafers which I absolutely love but totally hate coz they gave me my life’s worst shoe bites ever! I was in terrible pain and couldn’t even walk, just when my leg got twisted and my right operated leg got a jerk 🙁 It was paining terribly for an hour and then while walking and climbing stairs. The pain is less in the mornings but by night it increases, I hope it heals soon!

So I paired this black shirt dress with silver loafers and this nude Accessorize clutch, it has metallic gold accents which I love! The theme was grey and I had worn a casual grey t-shirt dress before coz that was the only grey I had, but thankfully this dress arrived at the last moment coz I was at my mom’s place, this dress was a saviour!

OOTD: 80’s Frills Dress

A new OOTD today, this week I attended the Grazia BeauTea Party at The Taj Mahal Tea House in Bandra. It was a small meet of 6-7 bloggers and the Beauty Editor and Art Director of Grazia India. It will be covered in next month’s Grazia magazine which is the ‘Beauty Special’, so do grab your hands on that 😀

Anyhoo, this is what I wore. I am loving this red frills skater dress, it is so so comfortable and the frills make it look super pretty. Also it was a common style in the 80’s and has made a comeback and why not when all the styles from 70’s and 80’s have 😀

I paired it with my black fringed sling bag and black and gold ankle strap sandals. Finished with my current favourite Michael Kors rose gold link watch.

OOTD: Palm Print Crop Top, Denim Joggers

Hi guys,

Time for a new OOTD 🙂 I got this palm print peach crop top from Koovs, it is from Spring Break. I love quirky prints (remember this pineapple print crop top) and light, pastel colors, peach being one. This was again a perfect combination of color + print in a crop top like the pineapple print one, so I grabbed it 😀

And another favourite of mine are these denim jogger pants. These are very loose and so comfortable, it is like wearing denim but still not feeling like denim. These are from StalkBuyLove and called ‘Uber Kool Tencel Pants’. They run slightly loose and hence my normal size is also quite loose for me, so order accordingly.

I completed the look with my current favourites shoes, the silver loafers from Forever 21, black fringed bag and my Daniel Wellington watch.

I wore this look for the Clinique Face Forward Lunch.

OOTD: Red Lips Embroidered Dress

Hi guys,

A new OOTD today..I wore this pretty red lips embroidered dress last Saturday when we went to Prime Time Sports Bar and also it was my niece’s 2nd birthday 🙂

I love how simple and effortless this dress is,yet glams you up instantly. I paired it with a simple gold choker necklace and a simple Daniel Wellington watch and a set of rings.

Completed the look with this black fringes bag and studded black ballerinas.

Since it was quite dark and the lighting was not that good, some pics look a bit harsh. Also, I am wearing the L’Oreal Paris 24H Powder Foundation and hence the whitish cast, see I told you.

OOTD: Orange Lace Dress, Floral Blazer

Hi guys,

If you read the previous post, you know we had been for lunch yesterday at The Trident, BKC. We also ended up shooting the outfit since I loved the decor.

 

I wore this pretty orange lace dress which can also be worn off shoulder, but since I had layered it with a blazer, I wore it normally. I absolutely love the fit and how it hugs the waist and gives a shape and is not like a shift dress. Plus orange and yellow are my favourite colors <3

I wore this very light, floral blazer on top. It is so light, that I could comfortably wear it in these summers too. (obviously with the AC indoors) Since the dress and blazer are all bright and colorful, I skipped the accessories and kept the bag and shoes neutral.

So, I paired the outfit with my favourite Michael Kors sling (which you guys are bored of seeing now, but I am too lazy to change bags :D) and another current favourite, these tan brogues. Also added, a classic Daniel Wellington watch.
