So as I have become more active on Snapchat and Instagram, I am doing less of outfit posts here and less of vlogs too, coz I show the outfit and the event videos on Instagram and Snapchat respectively.
But I decided to post this one on the blog. I got this abstract print overlapping shift dress from StalkBuyLove recently, I showed it my latest YouTube Haul Video HERE
I wore this outfit for the Splash Spring/Summer Collection Preview recently. I paired this dress with my gold block heels and blue Michael Kors sling and gold Michael Kors watch. Also added a stretchable gold belt to give the waist some definition.
I love the overlap effect and the abstract print. Also the fact that it’s half sleeves, this dress is something which can be worn for multiple occasions like a formal affair or a casual day out.

OOTD: Denim Blue Off Shoulder Crop Top, Floral Pencil Skirt

OOTD time! The moment I saw this crop top in the Stalkbuylove’s Stalker magazine early last month in the New Arrivals, I knew I had to get this! It is off shoulder, which is a trend quite IN this spring/summer. Also the denim blue colour would compliment a lot of different bottoms from black to bright colors to floral like I have paired it with today. Crop tops are absolutely fabulous with anything high waist like high waisted denims/skirts/culottes.
I have paired crop tops with culottes, palazzos and lace mini skirt earlier. And yes with pencil skirts too, see HEREand HERE. And of course, when they come with it’s own set i.e. co-ordinates/matching separatesmakes it all the more better coz you can not only wear them as coords but also separately with basics.
I have paired this Chester crop top with a black floral skirt. I had this skirt since quite some time (shown in this HAUL video), when I saw this crop top, I knew I would be pairing it with this skirt 😀 Yes, I mentally put together my outfits all the time 😉
Also I love bucket bags, if you know I already have the big orange one from StalkBuyLove which I love using. And I also like backpacks, so when I saw this tan backpack which is like a bucket bag i.e. 2 in 1, I immediately added it to the cart!
Tip: Tan/Neutral bags and shoes will always work with everything, so if you like something in tan, don’t think twice and just get it, you will be surely using that a lot.
I completed the look with my Daniel Wellington watch and these black Forever 21 mules. Now I know mules don’t have a strap behind usually, but this one does. Had got them during sale, again had showed these in the above linked haul video.
Today’s post is quite different, it is not the usual OOTD post, but a post dedicated exclusively to Dungarees. Let me tell all about dungarees, the history, how to dress it up, dress it down.
Starting with the history of dungarees, they have been around since the late 1700’s. Dungarees were worn by farmers, slaves and the likes since they were inexpensive and not prone to easy tear but also carried a stigma of low status for the same reason. Women started wearing them during World Wars coz it was the perfect material for those working in factories. They came back in fashion in the 40’s and 50’s starting with children wear and since then, they have been quite famous and IN and OUT of fashion.
Dungarees are back again in fashion and they come in different types and styles, from shorts to skirts to trousers style, denim style, suspenders, ripped denims, etc. They can be paired in a million ways and can be dressed up or dressed down. Although they have always mostly been associated with casual style, today I am showing you how I dress up my basic black dungarees for a formal, evening look!

I am wearing this basic, black trouser style dungarees with a simple white crop top and dressed it up with my trusted black blazer and nude heels. I added a pop of colour with this pastel pink Kate Spade bag. My current favourite wood watch from Jord watches completes this look!

So my birthday was on 22nd and I was in Jaipur that time, I just wanted to share my birthday outfit with you all.
I wore this lace little black dress from StalkBuyLove and paired it with everything gold. Also gold and black was appropriate for the Christmas and Party Season. I am so obsessed with this dress, I would have worn it for New Year Party for sure, sadly no plans :/
I paired it with gold tassel earrings, rose gold watch and a glitter clutch. Also stacked some gold midi rings and my trusted black and gold ankle strap sandals.
We clicked this at Nahargarh Haveli in Jaipur where we were staying for 3 days, it is an old haveli refurbished into an hotel. There are similar other hotels in Jaipur like Nani Ki Haveli, Alsisar, Virasat, etc.
Our first two days were at Zone By The Park and I would be doing a separate post about it, coz the experience was mind blowing.

Outfit 1:
I have seen this long maxi slit tops a lot in the past few months, I never found them in Forever 21 and there was on StalkBuyLove which was almost OOS every time. Finally I found this blue and purple ombre slit top and it is just perfect, except for the length for me if I wear it with flats. A shirt dress again, this time it’s beige, white and black color blocked shirt dress. What I like about this dress is that it can even be worn as a cape. The belt defines the waist and I paired it with the same bag and shoes, but with my Michael Kors watch. I wore this for the Woods new Collection showcase.

Outfit 3:
This is my favourite, bright yellow A-line dress. I absolutely love the lower print, it is quite bright and a statement in itself. I paired it with the same nude sling and my Daniel Wellington watch. I went for strappy block heels since it is more dressy. I was going to wear it for The Body Shop gift wrapping workshop event but I had to run errands that day and this dress is slightly tighter and was not the most comfortable, so I had to change. The only problem is the fit, even though I ordered it as per the size mentioned, it is tight for me. If you plan to buy this, go for a size up.

This time, I covered three outfits which I wore to events/meets recently.
Outfit 1:
It is the same outfit I wore HERE, this time with different accessories and bag. I love this floral midi skirt and since it has red roses, this red crop top matches perfectly with the skirt.
I paired it with a simple gold statement necklace and my Daniel Wellington watch. The highlight of this outfit is this beautiful Suede by Devina Juneja wristlet. The Shaded Ring Weave Wristlet is made with lightly hand-shaded leather in subtle gold and silver. I love the shaded ombre effect and the gold chain is perfect to replace your bracelet. It is easy to carry around and looks so pretty.

Outfit 2:
The 2nd and 3rd are more casual ones, I am loving my new Levi’s 711 Skinny and living in them practically. I love how these are super comfortable. I always stayed away from skinny jeans coz I am neither thin nor tall for the skinny jeans to look good on me, Levi’s changed it all for me! I still can’t believe this skinny jeans not only flatters my body but make my legs look slender and nice. This is the first skinny jeans I absolutely love and they have other ranges like 311 Shaping Skinny and 312 Shaping Slim which look even more flattering and I can’t wait to try those.
I paired the skinny with my simple white tee and a black and beige Himachal print jacket. The jacket is currently on sale and only worth Rs.448/-! It is perfect for your dresses too and adds a light layer and keeps you warm. Since the entire look was more or less monochrome, I added a bright pop of color with my current favourite orange bucket bag. Bucket bags are back, ladies! I love how this bag is huge and fits my world in it (including my camera) and I carry it along comfortably. I love the orange and golden tassels hanged on the straps. The only thing is, I wish it came with a longer strap too, which usually comes with a bucket bag and makes it more convenient to carry. I finished the look with gold strappy flat sandals by Do Bhai from Myntra.

Outfit 3:
The third one is a simple, everyday outfit. A basic aztec print top with roll over sleeves, paired with Levi’s 711 Skinny again. I completed the look with a Daniel Wellington watch, black fringed bag and black studded ballerinas.
An OOTD post today.I love culottes in monsoons coz they don’t get dirty from the bottom plus they dry out pretty quickly unlike denims. So culottes are your best bet in the rains. Also they give the look of a skirt with the feel of pants :p I had styled a pair of floral culottes last monsoon HERE.
This time it is a pair of white culottes and I went with a crop top. I love how the coral red crop top works with the white culottes. I was not too pleased with the fit of the culottes, but as the size increases so does the length and since I am short, it somehow clashes :/ I accessorized with a nice, chunky statement neck piece and let that be the showstopper of the outfit.
A simple gold midi ring, watch and brogues to complete the look.

If you read the previous post, you know we had been for lunch yesterday at The Trident, BKC. We also ended up shooting the outfit since I loved the decor.
I wore this pretty orange lace dress which can also be worn off shoulder, but since I had layered it with a blazer, I wore it normally. I absolutely love the fit and how it hugs the waist and gives a shape and is not like a shift dress. Plus orange and yellow are my favourite colors <3
I wore this very light, floral blazer on top. It is so light, that I could comfortably wear it in these summers too. (obviously with the AC indoors) Since the dress and blazer are all bright and colorful, I skipped the accessories and kept the bag and shoes neutral.
So, I paired the outfit with my favourite Michael Kors sling (which you guys are bored of seeing now, but I am too lazy to change bags :D) and another current favourite, these tan brogues. Also added, a classic Daniel Wellington watch.

I am back, up and going now. I can do all the basic stuff and would be going back to my place with hubby 🙂 Only I cannot walk fast or climb steps quickly as of now. Also I am not supposed to wear heels for 2-3 more months. So I am buying lots of flats, reasons to shop 😉 And back with a new outfit post. A monochrome and androgynous outfit but with a twist, the twist is the blouse has cute bow cut offs on the sleeves.
The trousers were quite loose for me, but I did not bother exchanging them as they were very comfortable! Though I would get a few alterations done to it.
I paired this monochrome outfit with my new metallic gold Vans with tassels on the sides ! Say hello to my new Vans!

I know the pics are not very clear..I just discovered yesterday that my new DSLR lens was also dashed from the front and the zoom got stuck, as we were carrying it with us on the day of the accident. I have given it for repair at the service center, I hope it starts working properly again 🙁
Another OOTD, this time from the Andamans, Havelock to be specific. Our hotel Emerald Gecko was at Vijayanagar beach and had this private beach area (which most of the decent hotels in Havelock do). I clicked lots of pics there and the breakfast/dining area was also bang opposite the beach. You just feel like lying there whole day.
I wore this dress on my birthday. I know its too dressy for the beach, but we were heading out and it starts getting dark at Havelock around 4-4.30 and after 5 its like pitch dark. So we clicked the pics before heading out.
I love how this dress fits beautifully and is super comfortable. The off shoulder looks nice and the printed lower half with two pockets also works perfectly, though it looks like a separate top and midi skirt. I paired it with a statement necklace and a statement belt.

Later we went to Kaala Patthar beach too which was very near to our hotel, we went there two days out of the three we were at Havelock. Kaala Patthar hardly had any crowd and was serene unlike Radhanagar which was quite crowded.
