I know I am MIA from a long time..blame the stupid internet..its been 8-9 days it gets disconnected every night..and during daytime I am in office..finally I get to blog :DComing to Myntra.com, I have shopped a few time previously at Myntra but mostly clothes, shoes, etc..but not from the Beauty section..they provided a voucher to shop and experience the beauty section..and I said why not..

I got my stuff within a day or two..they are pretty quick..and I love how we get different individual boxes..don’t we all need them to keep our makeup 😀

Let’s see what I shopped..

I got:

Faces Exfoliating Gloves (affordable dupe for the Body Shop Gloves)
Maybelline Makeup Remover (wanted to try this from a long time)
Maybelline Colorsensational High Shine Lip Gloss in Plum Luster
Streetwear Nail Polish Remover
Nivea Purifying Face Wash (for Combination to Oily Skin)
Revlon Touch and Glow Pimple Corrector

Things I feel they should work on..most of the things were out of stock..like I had a few things in my cart and they were OOS the next day..so had to replace them..for the Lip Glosses, they had just 3 shades available..and not the shade I wanted..I was interested more in Mirrored Mauve..so definitely more stock and variety is what they can improve on..and shipping is free above Rs.1000/- which I feel is a little too high..it should be around Rs.400-500/-

Street Wear All Day Wear Compact Blush Matte Review



What the Company claims: Street Wear All Day Wear Compact is oil-free compact that gives a flawless finish to your base makeup. It provides even skin tone and lightens the skin. You will get a smooth perfect finish.

MRP: Rs. 195/- for 10g (Price was Rs. 165/- before)

Shades available:

  • Blush Matte
  • Honey Matte
  • Natural Matte
Key Ingredients: Nylon 12, Mineral Oil, Lanolin Alcohol, Titanium Dioxide

Lakme Perfect Radiance costs Rs. 150/- for 8g. So comparatively they are almost the same..

It comes in a dark blue round packaging with a mirror and a sponge..they have changed the packaging now to a square one. I have not seen the new packaging personally..but this packaging was not at all sturdy..I had dropped it once accidentally and now I have two parts of it 😀

I have the shade Blush Matte..which matches my skin tone well. Its not powdery or the type that flies away every time one uses a powder brush. In fact I use a powder brush most of the times. Its packed well and quite densely..I am using it from more than a year..and still I am not able to finish it off :/

It provides a matte finish as claimed and keeps skin oil free for 4-5 hours..it never feels dry or does not give dry patches on the skin..or make it look cakey.

Pros:

1. Quite like the medium coverage it gives..evens out skin tone and covers redness or spots decently well.
2. Has Titanium Dioxide..which acts as a sunscreen.
3. Good enough quantity.
4. Decently priced for the quantity.
5. Shades would suit the Indian skin tones well.
6. Does not give dry patches or cakey look.

Cons:

1. Street Wear is not easily available.
2. Only the Key Ingredients are mentioned.
3. This packaging is not sturdy enough.
4. Contains Mineral Oil..which might not be suitable for some..

Overall I do like it..the coverage it gives and the finish is good enough for me..and suitable for daily use..I would say its worth trying.

Street Wear Nail Paint Review,NOTD

I applied a red nail paint for the first time and I actually liked it…instantly perks up the hands and makes them looks pretty…Bridal Red is a very pretty true red shade..

MRP: Rs.45-50/-

The only problem was the brush..it was split into two..see..

That gave a very streaky application and it was very messy to use..

Pros:

1. Pretty shade and opaque enough.
2. Economical
3. Many shades to choose from
4. 2 coats were more than enough.
5. Stayed on for around 4 days and started chipping later.

Cons:

1. The brush was very bad and streaky.

Would I buy it again: Yes after checking the brush properly.
