June 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

I got the June Fab Bag right now, I haven’t been keeping well and wasn’t going to do a video. But I thought of quickly doing one since many of you like and wait for the unboxing video.

The theme for this month is the ‘Boho Chic’ bag and the bag looks like a jute one. It is quite simple but sturdy and nice for travel.

Products I got:

  • Johara Creme Rich Lip Colour Cocoa Delight- Full size -Rs.395
  • Sugar Twist & Shout Fadeproof Kajal Black Velvet- Full size- Rs.399
  • BioBloom Foot Cream- Rs.335/- for 50g
  • APS Cosmetofood Activated Organic Spring Water- Rs.270/- for 50ml

I got 4 products in total, 2 full sized and 2 deluxe sized samples, the foot cream almost feels full sized but it’s not mentioned on the card.

Organic Spring Water is like Micellar water meant to cleanse and remove your makeup. I like the fact that it has a spray and cap and is perfect for travel.

The lipstick and kajal also look good, BioBloom products are all natural and chemical free, so looking forward to trying all the things.

The total value of the products in this month’s bag comes to around Rs.1500/- and I do recommend the June 2017 Fab Bag.

I am loving the colors, both the J.Cat Queen of Hearts Lip Paint and Starlooks lilac crayon are super unique and amazing. The Starlooks crayon shade is pretty similar to Aishwarya Rai Cannes lilac shade 😀 J.Cat is a dupe of OCC Lip tars and I can’t wait to try out this shade. It’s perfect for fall.

Even the Model’s Co. Lip liner is perfect for outlining and defining the lips.

The bag this month is a total value for money!

This month’s theme is ‘What The Chic’

The bag is faux leather and navy blue with pink purple polka dots. It is quite sturdy and nice, quality wise.

June 2016 The Beauty Addict Fab Bag Unboxing & Review

So I got my June Fab Bag today and here is my unboxing and review..

I absolutely love this month’s outer box, it is so cute! It’s a black canvas cloth pouch which has makeup print and reads ‘Eat Sleep Makeup Repeat’ which is the story of my life 😀 Definitely going to use this a lot.

The theme for this month is ‘The Beauty Addict’, let’s see the contents:

  • Skin Yoga Coffee Body Scrub – Full size (Rs.845)
  • Karite Buerre Pure Shea Butter- 20g (Rs.499/- for 50g)
  • Janseen ROC Serum- Full size (Rs.2000/- for 30ml)
  • Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow Crayon in Stonehenge- Full size (Rs.1200/-)

To start with the eyeshadow crayon, I had the option to select one makeup product this month and I chose this Stonehenge shade. I saw the swatches online and liked this frosty taupy shade. Unfortunately it’s not very pigmented and also is smudge proof, definitely needs a good eyeshadow on top or else won’t stay.

Karite Buerre Pure Shea Butter sounds amazing, I was in the lookout for shea butter and glad I got this. This 20g would last really long, it’s perfect to use for cuticles, on lips, on hand and feet or even ends of hair.

Skin Yoga makes fabulous stuff and I have tried a few before, got samples mostly in subscription boxes and bags, I am so glad this is full sized. If you read the recent post on our blog about cellulite, you must be knowing how coffee scrub is amazing for cellulite. Definitely looking forward to trying this.

And finally the ROC Anti Wrinkle Serum, I love the ingredients and the brand and product are amazing, but just not for me. I don’t have wrinkles yet and I would have liked if I would have got something suited for my skin and age. Not happy with this, but I will pass this to my mom and I hope she likes it.

Overall I am quite happy with the rest of the items and that there are three full sized products and one deluxe sample this time. Surely recommend this month’s Fab Bag and the total value of the products in this month’s bag is Rs. 4250.

I hope they continue with such products every month 😀

March 2016 ‘More Power To You’ Fab Bag Unboxing & Review

I just now got the March Fab Bag, it’s the ‘More Power To You’ Women’s Day/Month theme.

It’s a metallic silver textured bag and I knew the Sugar Cosmetics Matte Lipstick is a part of the bag coz I saw it on their Instagram page and assumed it would be this brand.

Let’s see what all I got:

  • Sugar Cosmetics ‘It’s A Pout Time’ Matte Vivid Lipstick in 03 Mad Magenta (Full sized)- Rs.599/-
  • Wella Professionals Elements Shampoo (30ml)- Rs.175/-
  • Wella Professionals Elements Conditioner (30ml)- Rs.200/-
  • Nykaa Strawberries & Cream Nail Enamel (5ml)- Rs.149/- for 10ml
  • Nyassa Tiramisu Body Scrub (30g)- Rs.900/- for 200g

I really like the Wella Pro Elements Range, read my review HERE. It is SLS and paraben free and perfect for colored/treated hair, this deluxe sample size is perfect to try out and/or for travel.

I am loving the Sugar Matte Lipstick, love their Matte Crayon too, so was looking forward to the lipstick. Quite excited to try that out. It comes in this magenta pink shade, a muted berry, a nude and a coral.

I have 3-4 of Nykaa nail paints and they are quite decent, I love this summery shade and would definitely be wearing it.

The Nyassa Tiramisu Body Scrub smells amazing, but since it’s a body scrub, this 30g sample would only work once.

Overall, I would say it’s a mixed bag, not a must have but pretty decent if you are into matte lipsticks and wanted to try the Wella Pro Elements Range, a nail paint and bag are added bonus 😀

The value of the products come to around Rs.1200/- which is still not bad and the deluxe sizes are decent too.

August Fab Bag Unboxing & Review

August Fab Bag Unboxing & Review

I am back with another Fab Bag unboxing and review video.

Fab Bag is a monthly subscription bag where you get 4 (sometimes a 5th bonus) products.

Read my previous Fab Bag reviews:

August month of Fab Bag is ‘Cast A Spell’ edition, which is Fairy Tale and Princessy theme.

MRP: Rs.599/- for 1 month

This time it is a metallic pink textured bag, a pretty bag though not something you can carry out, but good for travel yet again. All the Fab Bags are very multi-purpose and perfect for travel.

Contents of my August Fab Bag:

  • Divo Eyelash Curler- Full size (Rs.125/-)
  • Fran Wilson MoodMatcher Green Lipstick- Full size (Rs.590/-)
  • Roots Professional Morocvita Oil- 5ml (Full size Rs.2000/- for 120ml)
  • Ital Veloce Body Mist Summer Snowflakes -12ml (Rs.499/- for 210ml)
  • Bioderma Photoderm MAT SPF30- 5ml x 2 (Rs.1330/- for 40ml)

Overall, I would say I am quite happy with the eyelash curler and the moodmatcher lipstick, though it is not obviously worth Rs.590/-. The Ital Veloce Body Mist smells amazing and will be in my handbag now onwards.

I love the Roots Morocvita oil too, 5ml serum should last some time and I have another similar 5ml sample. Not very happy with the Bioderma small sample of sunscreen, but I am glad that at least they have included two samples coz one would be a total waste. I like Bioderma as a brand though and happy with the products.

I prefer deluxe sized samples and full sized products in a subscription box/bag. Though its a good bag, I would have loved a bigger sample of the Morocvita oil and Bioderma sunscreen, or maybe some other deluxe sized samples.

I would still recommend this month’s bag for a good mix of products and also an eyelash curler! Do book your bag for August if you haven’t already.
