I got the Dec 2018 Fab Bag today and it’s all Christmasy and holiday-y 😀 With the red and fur, the bag is quite cute. It’s called ‘The Merry Indulgence’ Dec Fab Bag.

I had an option to pick one lipstick shade from Disguise Cosmetics which is a 100% vegan and cruelty free brand and is toxin free, made with marula and avocado oil.

They had all basic shades from nude, red, pink, peach, etc. I went with the red one, it is definitely very creamy and is a little task to apply. I am so used to my matte lipsticks now. Creamy red lipsticks always transfer on my teeth and everywhere around, so I just avoid.

It is very pigmented though and once blotted, stays put through the day and is very comfortable on the lips. The stain stays even after lipstick wears off. The packaging is also quite nice, sturdy and bright.

I am also excited to try the Spa Ceylon Hand Cream, Global Beauty Secrets Turkish  Day Cream and the Bliscent Hair Pack. I am loving all the products and brands this time in Fab Bag.

Total value comes to around Rs.1500/-

I definitely recommend the Dec Fab Bag, it’s a total value for money and all the brands are pretty good.

I got my Oct Fab Bag early this time, on 29th Sept which was amazing! And I just a mail the previous day that they had 10 mini lipsticks this month and I was pretty excited.

The theme for the Oct month is ‘The Colour Your Way’ Bag and the bag itself is quite nice and sturdy.

Total value of the products come to around Rs.2100/- I love the lipsticks set and they have all the shades from a nude to orange, to deep berry, to cool and warm toned reds. These are perfect size for travel and very handy. These are quite pigmented and semi matte, not bad at all quality wise and I love that there are 10 shades in total!

Also the hair elixir is something I am looking forward to try, as it has onion extracts too which is amazing for hair growth. Handmade soap of course, is great for everyday use.

I definitely recommend this month’s bag, love the lipsticks they have included.

September 2017 Anniversary Fab Bag Unboxing + Giveaway

I am unboxing the Sept 2017 Anniversary Fab Bag today, I just received it. I got the August one pretty late and hence couldn’t do a review.

It’s an off white pouch, I expected something unique for the 5th Anniversary edition.

The theme for this month is The Object of Desire.

  • Iraa Insta Renew Multi Action Under Eye Cream (Full size 20g- Rs.490)
  • Tvakh Midas Touch Ultra Nourishing Lip TInt- (Full size- Rs.195)
  • Tvakh CE- Namom Lip Plumper (Full size- Rs.225)
  • Seer Secrets Smoky Rose Geranium Body Cleanser 30ml (Rs.72)

I love the metallic turquoise color of the Sugar Nail Paint. The eye cream also sounds good. I am not a fan of shimmery lip balms, so the Tvakh Lip Balm is not something I am very excited about but Tvakh has a lot of good skincare in general, so I might give it a try.

The rose geranium body wash from Seer Secrets smells really good!

Tvakh Lip Plumper does sound good, will definitely try it. Cinnamon does help make lips plump, plus it has argan oil.

For Seasoul lipsticks, I had an option of pick one shade out of 7-8 and I picked this neon purple. I was very tempted to pick the nude one but I have enough nudes and I am into bright shades and purples currently.

The total value of the products in this month’s bag comes to around Rs.1800-1850. I do like the fact that there are 5 full sized products and one deluxe sized sample. But I would liked a variety in brands. Perhaps instead of two lip balms/plumper, one could have been a full sized Neemli face mask/scrub.

Overall it is definitely value for money and if you like trying out new brands, you will like it.

July 2017 Fab Bag Review & Giveaway

I got my Fab Bag today, I know it was super quick this time. From the past few months, I was receiving it a day or two later than usual.

It’s a bright peach coloured bag, and has a wristlet band, perfect colour for monsoons.

The theme for this month is ‘The Colour Drama’

  • Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick Viola – Full size with sharpener: Rs.799/-
  • Kronokare Hydrate The Hair Shampoo: Rs.165 for 55ml
  • Just Herbs Herb Enriched Skin Tint: Rs.385/- for 15g
  • Tvakh Fruit Enzyme Alcohol Free Toner: Rs.160/- for 50ml

I have got Tvakh products before and I really like them. This toner is alcohol free and enzyme based, hence it will have a light all natural AHA/BHA exfoliation (coz of all the fruit enzymes). I am really looking forward to trying this out.

The Just Herbs tint does look good for daily use, it has a light coverage which evens out the skin tone. But it is quite expensive for the qty and it’s just 15g

Kronokare is again all parabens and chemicals free, a good travel size bottle.

Most excited for the Sugar Matte As Hell Lip Crayon, I had the option of picking one lipstick from all the 11 new Sugar lipstick launches i.e. the Matte As Hell Lip Crayon and the It’s A Pout Time Vivid Lipsticks. I have swatched all of them HERE and HERE.

Since I already had them, I picked the shade Viola for one of you, as most of you loved this shade! And it’s my favourite shade too.

Overall I would say if you anyway planning to get one of the new Sugar lipsticks, then at the price of Rs.599/-, you get the lipstick plus thee other things and the bag. Pretty good deal! I do recommend it.

May 2017 Sip Of Summer My Envy Box Review, Unboxing

I received the May My Envy Box today. I absolutely love the watermelon print, it’s so refreshing and looks like water colours. Although the edges came a bit torn, the box looks real good.

The theme is ‘Sip of Summer’ this month and it’s a summer edition box.

Products I received:

  • The Nature’s Co. Mango Creme Body Wash- Rs.695/- for 175ml
  • Cheryl’s Dermashade Sunblock SPF 30- Rs.550/- for 50g
  • Fuschia Herbal Fusion Shampoo (Rs.450/- for 100ml)
  • Grecobe Green Coffee (Rs.70 for 5 sachets)
  • Omorfee Mellow Drizzle Skin Toner (4ml x 2 vials)
  • L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream, Reine Blanche Illuminating Cream and Serum sachets

I am super impressed with the first three products, the quantity is amazing, 3 full sized products! I have tried the Cheryl’s Sunblock before and it’s quite good. The Mango body wash is perfect for the season and smells yumm.

The Fuschia shampoo is little expensive for the price, but I haven’t tried haircare from this brand, so looking to trying that out.

Green Coffee is meant to boost metabolism and aid in weight loss and improve stamina, so you can try these sachets and see if you notice any difference, before investing in the bigger size.

Rest are small samples, the Omorfee toner looks interesting though considering it has sour honey, lavender, cucumber, rose, etc.

Overall, I would say I am pretty impressed and do recommend this month’s box. The total value of the products in the box comes to around Rs.2000/-

Feb 2017 My Envy Box Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

I got the Feb My Envy Box today, the product card which as the theme name was missing in my box. But I saw it online, it’s the Indo-French Edition theme, so there are Indian and French brands in here.

Products I got:

  • L’Oreal Paris Magique Bold Kajal
  • Avene Micellar Water sample
  • Gulnare Gold Dust Highlighter
  • Votre Face Serum

There are 2 Indian and 2 French brands (Considering L’Oreal as a French brand)

I have already tried the Votre Face Serum, I had received it in one of my Fab Bag last year. I have two full sized Avene Micellar Water bottles and it’s pretty good. This though is a small sample size, good enough to travel with.

Gulnare Gold Dust Highlighter is a jar full of gold wax kind of thing. I can’t understand the base, but it gives a soft, gold glow. It’s very sheer though. Good for the body.

I do not expect L’Oreal Paris kajal in My Envy Box as it’s supposed to be a luxury box with luxury brands, also this is something which is available anywhere and everywhere, it is not even an international brand.

I did not like this month’s My Envy Box, even though there are three full sized products, none is interesting. I don’t recommend it.

Last month’s box was so good! I had really high expectations :/

Jan 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

I know I am a little late this time in the unboxing of Fab Bag. I am at my parents’ place and the Fab Bag gets delivered at my place and from there I got it here today.

The theme this month is ‘Bring It On’. The bag is a bright pink clutch, it’s nice to travel along with and it fits many things in.

Products I got:

  • Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Lip Crayon in Mary Poppins (Full size- Rs.799/-)
  • O3+ Derma Fresh Mask – 50g (Full size- Rs.425/-)
  • MCaffeine Neem Caffeine Face wash (50ml) – Full size Rs.449/- for 150ml
  • The Nature’s Co. Fucus Anti-Ageing Cream (20ml)- Full size Rs.895/- for 50ml
  • Wella EIMI Perfect Me BB Lotion (6ml)- Full size Rs.900/- for 100ml

I had an option to choose one makeup product and Sugar Matte Lip Crayons were also a part of those options. I was confused between Mary Poppins and Rose Dawson and didn’t have both, but finally went with Mary Poppins as I have many nudes and this is a very unique bright pink.

Also liking the full size face mask, would be trying it out right now. Rest three products are deluxe sized samples. The face wash looks decent, not very happy with the anti-ageing cream, I would have liked a scrub or day/night cream.

I have the full size bottle of the Wella Perfect Me BB Lotion and it’s really good! The 6ml sachet should be worth Rs.54/- but the sachet mentions Rs.150/- which is more than 3 times the value.

Overall the value of all the products comes to around Rs. 1790/- I am happy with the lipstick and face mask. I love the Wella BB Lotion and would be carrying this sachet the next time I travel. I am not sure about the face wash and anti-ageing cream but I don’t mind trying those.

Also got a special discount coupon from Housejoy, INR 500 off on beauty services worth INR 999 and above.

The bag is pretty decent, not bad. Definitely worth buying.

September 2016 My Envy Box Review & Unboxing

I got my September My Envy Box just now. This month’s theme is ‘Travel’ and I absolutely love the suitcase shaped box! Definitely keeping this box 😀 It looks so cute, I love the designs each month.

Products I got:

  • Dermalogica Oil Free Matte sachet: Rs 3825 for 50ml
  • Kronokare City Detox Face Wash 30ml deluxe sample: Rs 395 for 100ml
  • TRUUTH Beauty Formula Tablets: Rs 400 for 30 pills
  • Ma Earth Botanicals Rose Facial Scrub 40g Deluxe Sample: Rs 875 for 125g
  • C.A.L Detail Me Mascara: Rs. 450 for 12ml
  • C.A.L. Muah Collection Lip Gloss: Rs 450 for 10ml

Unfortunately my Kronokare face wash leaked inside the box, half of the face wash smeared all over the box. I cleaned the box and let it dry, I hope it doesn’t feel soapy or sticky.

The Kronokare City Detox face wash has grapefruit oil and lavender oil. It smells really good, looking forward to try this.

Another product that impressed me is the Ma Earth Botanicals Rose Scrub, it’s in dry form with crushed rose petals in it. Smells absolutely amazing, I am most excited to try this out.

I got two full sized makeup products from C.A.L. I have never heard of this brand, so I searched a bit. CAL Cosmetics LA is a new Indian brand and have a range of face, eyes and lip products. I got the lip gloss in the shade ‘Spicy’ from their Muah Collection, not sure if it’s High Gloss or Stay On, but considering how pigmented and staining it is, I believe it is from Stay On Range. I love the bright coral colour and the staying power is pretty good for a gloss, it’s more like those Maybelline Velvet Matte Lip Colours.

Also got the CAL Detail Me Mascara. I quite like the gold packaging, the outer boxes for both the products were a little rusty. I am not sure why.

The TRUUTH Beauty Formula pack of 30 tablets is a new ‘supplements’ introduction in My Envy Box. It has Biotin, Collagen and claims to be good for hair, nails and skin. Since this has red mark, I am not sure if I will have these as I am a pure vegetarian. I wish they had included something with green mark which everyone can have, or confirmed before sending this or given an option.

And finally Dermalogica Matte Sunscreen small sachet sample, I don’t like sachets so don’t have anything much to say about this. Dermalogica always has super tiny one time use samples. If My Envy Box includes Dermalogica samples, they should include at least 4-5 of these.

Also this month My Envy Jewellery Box has Simran Chhabra designs, you can get extra 10% off using ‘SIMJB10’ and get the box at Rs.2205/-

Overall I quite like the Ma Botanicals Rose Scrub and looking forward to try both of the CAL products. In terms of value for money, this month’s box is definitely total value for money! You get 3 full sized and 2 deluxe sixed samples worth Rs.1700! Recommended

July My Envy Box Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

I just got the My Envy Box for the month of July. The theme is ‘Band, Baajaa Beauty’ and it’s curated by WedMeGood. The box itself is very pretty, it is neon pink with gold intricate work on it.

I had seen a sneak peek in the email and knew there were two full sized products from SkinYoga and Gulnare in this month’ box.

Let’s see what I got in this month’s box:

  • SkinYoga Marigold Foot Soak- Full Size (Rs. 695/-)
  • Gulnare Glow Girl Shimmering Dry Oil – Full size (Rs.1250/-)
  • Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi Brightening Scrub -5g sample
  • Kama Ayurveda Hand Cream- 5g sample
  • Kerastase Chronologiste Oil- 3ml sample

In total there are 5 products in this month’s box, but except the 2 full sized products, rest of the samples are very tiny. I do prefer deluxe sized samples which have 30g or 30ml product, I do not like the 5g and 5ml tiny samples which hardly serve the purpose.

The foot soak and shimmering body oil do look interesting, but I would have liked body scrub or Gulnare moisturiser/hand cream.

Overall the value of the two full sized products do make up for the cost of the box, but I would suggest go for this month’s box only if you use/interested in trying out the foot soak or shimmering body oil. Or else, can skip this month’ box.
