June 2016 My Envy Box Unboxing, Review & 15% off Discount Code

I got the June My Envy Box right now and the box is so pretty! I just can’t take my eyes off the box, they have a designer who designs boxes each month and I have been noticing fabulous boxes since the past 1-2 months.

I have tons of My Envy Boxes and I had to throw some old, plain ones previously as I was short of space, but I am surely keeping these pretty ones!! I love floral print and this is one of my favourite prints.

Ok, so it’s kind of a mixed thing this month, there is one full sized product and two deluxe samples and two small sachets.

I quite liked the O3+ Aloe Gel which is full sized. Absolutely loved the Herra Hair Perfume, I sprayed it immediately and it smells divine! Also this 10ml bottle is perfect to carry in your bag.

I love face masks and I don’t think I have come across a good deep cleansing and clearing masque in India yet. The Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay one is on my wish list, but I really liked the sound of this one. Looking forward to trying this one out and it’s 50g i.e. half the size of the product which is pretty decent.

Not really a fan of the perfume sample vial or sachets, so no comments on that. I would appreciate if subscription boxes/bags totally do away with tiny samples and sachets, even considering these two brands among the products in the box is unjustified.

So for me, these three are the main products and the ones I liked and looking forward to try. The value of these products in the box comes to Rs.1175/-

May ‘Summer Romance’ Edition Sugarbox Unboxing

I am totally digging off shoulder crop tops these days, and I was so glad when I saw this! Plus the coral colour is so bright and summery, can’t wait to wear it. The bag is pretty amazing too, fabulous quality, quite soft in texture. The gold accents go pretty well with the beige colour. Bucket bags are also IN these days, and this makes a perfect beach bag too. It’s quite spacious and huge, reminds me of my orange bucket bag from StalkBuyLove.

I have never tried the Tropical Cocktail flavour in Tang, so I am looking forward to trying this one. A hat is perfect for summers too, whether on beach or otherwise, a good stylish hat, can take your outfit a notch higher. I am not much into diamante on my accessories, but the stars in the double layered bracelet look quite cute.

The floral headband has to be my favourite, wear it like a proper headband or a little lower like Alia Bhatt in Ladki Beautiful Kar Gayi Chull song, with loose beachy waves for that boho vibe.

I am all about organic skincare and I haven’t tried a Pumpkin face wash yet and nothing from Gulnare skincare, so looking forward to trying this one too.

May 2016 Fab Bag Unboxing & Review

So I got the May 2016 Fab Bag today and it’s the ‘Summer Escapade’ theme, perfect for the season.

It’s a green colored mesh bag, very helpful to see through products and I like carrying such mesh bags for travel, so that can identify what is stored.

Products I got:

  • Sea Soul Eyeshadow Duo in Deep Purple: Rs.950/-
  • The Nature’s Co. White Tea Night Cream (20ml): Rs.895/-for 50ml
  • Inveda SPF30 PA++ Sunscreen Cream Gel : Rs.275/- for 75ml
  • Nyassa Tea Tree Face Wash (30ml): Rs.400 /- for 145ml

To start with the Sea Soul Eyeshadow Duo, I absolutely love it! It has two shades and comes with a mirror, one is a deep bluish purple and the other is a duochrome gold/purple/denim blue shade. I can’t even describe how gorgeous the duochrome shade is. Both the shades are super pigmented and buttery. It’s an Australian HD makeup brand and I am so glad Fab Bag introduced a new brand this month. I have done a look with this eyeshadow duo on my YouTube channel HERE

I also loved the Inveda sunscreen cream gel, it’s very light and feels gel like in texture. Non sticky and gets easily absorbed, definitely using this up this month.

Nyassa tea tree face wash is also perfect for summers and this 30ml bottle is quite nice. Decent qty and good for travel too. The Nature’s Co. White Tea Night Cream is pretty expensive and this is a deluxe sized 20ml jar. Feels very rich and hydrating and perfect for night time, the smell is light and not very overpowering or bothering.

Overall, I would say I am pretty impressed with 2 full sized products including one new brand’s full sized makeup product. And two deluxe sized samples. I do like May’s Fab Bag and definitely recommend it.

April 2016 My Envy Box Unboxing, Review

So I got my April 2016 My Envy Box yesterday. The box is peachy pink in color with gold print and it is curated by Bipasha Basu in association with The Label Life.

Let’s see what all I got:

  • BBLUNT Spotlight Hair Finish Spray – Full size (Rs.535/-)
  • O3+ Milk Scrub – Full size (Rs.385/)
  • Fran Wilson MoodMatcher Peach  Lipstick- Full size (Rs.590/-)
  • Rene Furterer Naturia Shampoo – 15ml
  • Roberto Cavalli Paradiso Azzurro Sample (Rs.4900/- for 50ml)

I have got the Moodmatcher lipstick earlier in green in my Aug Fab Bag last year. It comes in four shades, and I don’t mind trying this peach too, it stays put whole day and gives a nice pink tint to the lips depending on the body temperature, pH, etc.

Full size BBLUNT Spotlight Spray is nice, it gives a nice sheen to the hair and slight hold too, perfect for your daily hairstyles.

I like the sound of the O3+ Milk Scrub and I am glad it is full size, really looking forward to try that.

Not very happy with the Rene Furterer small sample, but I already have this same shampoo in the bigger tube and if I like that, I would keep this to carry along for travels. And again, a small perfume sample vial, which I won’t count/consider.

I like the fact that there are 3 full sized products, but I see the same brands being repeated a lot. BBLUNT, Rene Furterer, Avene, Hedonista, Suganda, etc. I would love to see new brands and would love it if My Envy Box introduces some new brands next month.

Though this box is value for money with 3 full sized products, but if you don’t like any one of the 3 full sized products, than you can skip it, and buy them individually.

Jan 2016 Beauty Resolutions Fab Bag Review

So this time I received the Fab Bag at my mom’s place the My Envy Box at my old address, so the delay in review or posted on social media directly.

January 2016 Fab Bag theme is ‘Beauty Resolutions’ coz we all have New Year resolutions 😀 The makeup print on the bag is super pretty and this is the perfect cosmetic bag for travel or storage, one of my most favourite Fab Bag bags!

Let’s come to the products, so I had an option to select one product in this month’s bag out of all the makeup options, and I had already tried everything else, so I went with the Laqa & Co. Nail Polish Pen coz I have never tried a nail polish pen and it was a nice, summery peach shade which I can’t wait to wear in summers.

  • Natural Bath & Body French Red Clay Face Mask 20g (Full size Rs 450/- for 100 ml)
  • Natural Bath & Body Vitamin E Whipped Cream 15g (Full size Rs 275/- for 50 ml)
  • Laqa and Co. Nail polish pen  (Full size Rs.1000/- for 5ml)
  • Votre Face Serum Full size (Rs 1670/- for 12 ml)
  • BBlunt Spotlight Hair Polish mini- Rs.250/-

I love the sound of both the Natural Bath & Body products and also the ingredients are pretty good. The French Red Clay mask has virgin coconut oil, turmeric powder, sandalwood extract, beetroot powder, kaolin clay, fuller’s earth, etc. And the Whipped cream is a blend of Vitamin E and argan oil. The cream is perfect for winters but I would prefer using the clay based mask in summers as clay based masks dry out my skin more though the coconut oil should balance it out, my skin is already super dry these days and I won’t risk it.

The Laqa & Co. Nail polish pen is in the shade Tweedledee is a nice pastel peach shade and also my first nail polish pen, quite happy that it’s a full sized product, can’t wait to try it out.

I love using serums and oils especially at night and in winters, currently I am obsessed with The Body Shop Oils Of Life Revitalizing Facial Oil, and this Votre Face serum sounds amazing with all the blend of essential and cold pressed oils in the ingredients. But my only worry is only active ingredients are mentioned :/ I hope it doesn’t break me out coz the Just Herbs Rejuvenating Beauty Elixir in the previous Fab Bag did break me out. I like the fact that this again is a full sized product.

And last but not the least, the BBlunt spotlight mini hair spray. Now I have 2 of the full sized ones and also one mini of this and I absolutely love it, it is perfect for adding some shine post your hairstyle and it gives slight hold too, though not much. It doesn’t make your hair stiff or hard and gives a nice sheen on the hair. This mini version is perfect for travel and/or handbag.

In all, I would say I loved this month’s Fab Bag and the fact that I got two full sized products, one hair spray mini and 2 deluxe sized samples and all the products are pretty good. Absolutely recommend getting this month’s bag if you still haven’t, also the bag in itself is really cute & quite useful.

Last month’s bag was also quite good, I hope this continues coz the products and bags have been really good from the past 2-3 months (except Nov) Touchwood!

This month’s packaging is different, the theme is ‘India Mon Amour‘ (which means ‘India My Love’ in French) and all the products are natural, herbal and organic. It is an oxblood red box with golden design on top depicting ancient India figures. August box is all about skin care and fragrance this month and something for the eyes.

It also has a separate card this time, apart from the product card, which has 5 ayurvedic skin care tips.

Forest Essentials details are missing and the 5th skin care tip is mentioned, a little goof up

Also coming to the products, I love everything in this box. The Hedonista Frozen Ittar is all natural and organic made with coconut oil and pure ittar. It is so convenient to carry and comes in this small jar. You need just a teeny weeny bit and the smell lasts for 7-8 hours minimum!!

I have got 2-3 small pimples and it is actually the perfect time to try out this Suganda Neem Green Tea Mask. It is in powder form and you can mix it with rose water or normal water and just apply it and wash off. I can’t wait to try this, have liked Suganda products untill now.

I wanted to try the Forest Essentials Iced Pomegranate & Kerala Lime Body Mist since a long time and I got it in this month’s box! Yay 😀 I absolutely love the smell and it is the best body mist I have tried, it just absorbs into the skin and leaves behind a refreshing smell. I have tried body mists from Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret too, but nothing beats this Forest Essentials one!

Coming to the Soultree Kajal, I already have 2-3 of these including one colored. I find the colored ones a bit dry in texture and these black ones are nice but as usual smudge a lot. So not too keen on the Soultree Kajal, but a full sized product is always good.

The 4th product is an option between Forest Essentials Body Mist & SkinYoga scrub, now I would have liked both 😀 But anyway, not being greedy, I am in love with this month’s My Envy Box. There have never been 3 full sized products and one deluxe sized (which is actually HALF) sample ever any of their boxes.

Plus a face mask worth Rs.400/-, this month’s My Envy Box is the best till date! I would still love it anyway if the August box makes me eat my words 🙂

I hope My Envy Box continues to come up with boxes like those of June & July, pretty impressed 🙂

June My Envy Box Review

This month’s My Envy Box is the bomb! I just love it..

This time its a bright coral box, I love the color <3 I like the revised packaging since April where there is only one card with all the product details and not 5 different cards. This month’s box has two full sized products!

Let’s see what all I got..

  • Catrice Smokey Eye Pencil in Petroling In The Deep which is a deep sea green (Full size– Rs.365/-)
  • Kerastase Elixir Ultime Oil (2 x 3ml each)
  • Hedonista Chocolate Face Soufflé- Full size (Rs.1650/- for 115g)
  • Estee Lauder Pleasures EDT sample vial
  • Natio Meditate Hand Cream– Deluxe Sample 20ml

I am in love with every product this time which is a part of the box, there have always been 1-2 products in My Envy Box every month which have been my favourites, but I like all the 5 products the first time :p

A full sized Catrice Eye Pencil, I love smokey eye pencils which are perfect for those 2 minute makeup days. I am quite excited to try this and might review this soon 🙂

I am currently using the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Oil and Beautifying Cream. Though the original bottle is not that big to carry, but these 3ml vials are perfect for travel. I am loving the oil and these vials are definitely coming along with me, on my next trip 😀

Hedonista Chocolate Face Souffle is a chocolate and clay based mask, now who doesn’t love chocolate. Never tried this brand but the packaging and the mask look super yummy and nice.

Estee Lauder Pleasures is a classic, and I absolutely love its smell.

And lastly the Natio Meditate Pink Lotus Hand Cream which smells divine and works pretty well as a hand cream <3

Overall I would say this month’s My Envy Box is a total paisa vasool and I quite like it. Highly recommended! Get the June box now, if you haven’t yet placed the order. I received the box today and reviewing it today itself, so that you guys can place your orders 🙂

Beach May Fab Bag Review

I am back with a Fab Bag review. This May, the theme was Beach- Sun,Sand and S*xy. The bag is a super cute, blue and white striped one. I love stripes and nautical, and this is by far, my favourite bag 🙂

Let’s take a look at the products..

  • Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in Madrid (Full size- Rs.1200/-)
  • Vana Vidhi Oriental Rice Paddy Face & Body Scrub (Full size,70g- Rs.1599/-)
  • Vichy Ideal White Cleanser & Essence (small sample)
  • Bonus: Bling Scarf (Rs.500/-)

I absolutely love the eyeshadow quad and I am glad I got warm,neutral colors and not the bright oranges and blues which I don’t like much. Madrid is just perfect with golds and browns, I did this makeup look with it.. (See more pics HERE)

The Vana Vidhi rice scrub is nice, gritty but not harsh and moisturising with the blend of essential oils, which does not leave the skin dry. I quite liked it.

A scarf as a bonus is just perfect, they also have 3 different ways to wear a scarf in the Fab Post. Also, every person has got a different scarf, I believe, which is even more cooler.

My least favourite is the Vichy Ideal White, I am not a fan of whitening products, and not really a fan of sample sized skin care too, which does not let you judge much anyway.

But overall, I am so so happy with this month’s Fab Bag, from the bag to the 3 full products, it’s a total paisa vasool bag. Absolutely recommend subscribing to Fab Bag, coz I believe they are only doing better month by month.
