The shades added this time are:

L-R: 15, 16, 17, 18

15 Stephanie Plum which is a mauve plum

16 Claire Underwood which is a yellow brown based orange

17 Brandy Herrington which is a rusty reddish pink

18 Rosalind which is a nude rose

L-R: 15, 16, 17, 18
L-R: 15, 16, 17, 18

First three shades would work for all skin tones and the last shade would work for fair to medium skin tones. Stephanie Plum and Brandy Herrington are my favourites.

All the 4 shades are perfect, everyday wear shades. Rosalind would be a nice MLBB for fair skin tones, it’s a peachy pink. Brandy Herrington looks more like a rosy brown and is an universally flattering, wearable shade. It’s neither nude nor too bright. Claire Underwood is more brown than orange. Stephanie Plum has the perfect mix of mauve and plum.

Overall, I loved all the four shades. Sugar always brings amazing colors and their formulation of lip products is fabulous. I am a big fan of the Matte As Hell Lip Crayons range and definitely recommend these.

Which shade did you like the most?

Sugar Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quads Review, Swatches, Looks

Sugar Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quads Review, Swatches, Looks

Hi guys,

Sugar Cosmetics just launched 18 eyeshadow quads and two eyeshadow palettes. Each eyeshadow quad is priced at Rs.699/- and the palette at Rs.1599/- (Buy HERE)

GET DISCOUNT USING ‘BTXSUGAR’ on https://in.sugarcosmetics.com

I am talking about the eyeshadow quads here but the palettes also have same shades, most of the quads also have repeated shades. You can pick a quad/palette as per your needs. Palettes are divided into two- day time neutrals/warms/browns and more cool toned/bright/smokey/night time palette.

Coming to the quads:

  • 01 Stronger
  • 02 Believe
  • 03 Escapade
  • 04 Chandelier
  • 05 Irreplacable
  • 06 Disturbia
  • 07 Applause
  • 08 Respect
  • 09 Diamonds
  • 10 Waterfalls
  • 11 Promiscuous
  • 12 Complicated
  • 13 Paparazzi
  • 14 Skyfall
  • 15 Bootylicious
  • 16 Roar
  • 17 Goldeneye
  • 18 Scandalous

I have 04 Chandelier, 05 Irreplaceable, 07 Applause, 08 Respect, 13 Paparazzi, 16 Roar

The packaging is cardboard and super light weight, they do not come with a mirror, just a dual sided sponge tip applicator.

The eyeshadows are super pigmented and buttery, the metallic ones are extremely soft and are best applied with your fingers. Even the matte shades are very pigmented and soft, blend easily and there is no fall out with any shadows.

I am highly impressed with the colours and pigmentation, they have some perfect neutrals to blend in the crease and amazing metallic shades for the lid. All the shades would work well for Indian warm skin tones and most of the shades are also Indian wedding/festive looks appropriate. There are also blues and plums for general wear, night time looks, neutral mattes for office wear, basically a quad for every occasion.

The only problem is repeated shades, I would have preferred launching just palettes or 5-6 quads with different shades. Here you cannot buy 2-3 eyeshadow quad and not have at least one eyeshadow repeated. It doesn’t make sense to have same shades if you want to buy 2-3 quads and like all other shades in the quads. I personally won’t invest in 2 quads even if one eyeshadow is repeated, because I prefer owning different shades. And most of you would think the same.

Best they could do, (or they can still) is to have a separate pan and separate singles to customize and make your own palette. Let the price remain the same.

Each quad is 5g, so each shadow is 1.25g though it looks like a 2g pan width wise, it is not very deep inside. I tried to depot the shadows as I didn’t want to keep the entire eyeshadow quad with repeated shades for 1-2 shades in it. One crumbled and one was dented, so I didn’t. I managed to depot one, and one quad has all same shades, so I am giving away two of the eyeshadow quads on my YouTube channel, join here below.

Here are all the quads..

Chandelier
Irreplacable
Applause
Respect
Paparazzi
Roar

Swatches..

Chandelier
Irreplacable
Applause
Respect
Paparazzi
Roar

I created a plum pink smokey eye with Applause and a matte peachy look with 16 Roar using just the two matte shades.

Applause
Two Mattes in Roar

Overall I would say I am highly impressed with the quality of the eyeshadows and they are the best available right now for this price, only con would be the combination of shades in the quads. I would recommend getting the daytime palette as it has almost all their best shades and you could make more use of it on an everyday basis.

New Sugar Cosmetics Never Say Dry Creme Lipsticks Review, Swatches

New Sugar Cosmetics Never Say Dry Creme Lipsticks Review, Swatches

Hi guys,

Sugar Cosmetics is back with a new launch, this time creme lipsticks. The classic old lipstick formula, these ones are super creamy and buttery. More like butter than cream, literally 😀

Claims: If you want the best of both worlds and love to have it all, then the SUGAR Never Say Dry Crème Lipstick is made just for you! Intensely pigmented and long-wearing with a baby-soft finish, its creamy texture effortlessly straddles the line between glossy and matte for an easy, everyday look. The high-colour payoff formula is loaded with Vitamin E that locks in both colour and moisture. A roll-on wonder that saves you from the hassle of prepping, priming and lining your lips – it’s all you need to quickly go from ‘Goddamn’ to ‘Goddess’. Free of mineral oil, lanoline and parabens. Full of vibrant colour that you’re sure to swoon over – try it out, today!

How to Apply: Starting from the center of your upper lip, gently slide the lipstick outward towards the corners while paying attention to fill in the arches carefully. On the lower lip, start at one edge and follow the natural curve. Use a tissue to blot out any excess product. Reapply for a smoother and longer-lasting finish.

Benefits: The SUGAR Never Say Dry Crème Lipstick has a creamy, feather-light texture that spreads evenly on the lips. It glides on smoothly to create full lips with intense colour and rich coverage. Available in 5 vibrant, highly pigmented shades that are sure to become your everyday favourites.

MRP: Rs.499/- for 3.5g (Buy HERE)

The packaging is exactly like the It’s a Pout Time Vivid Lipsticks. The same black rectangular packaging and the same qty, price is INR 100 less compared to that.

The lipsticks are launched in 5 shades for now, but I am sure they will add more in the future. The formula as I mentioned is super buttery, they melt while applying, so do not swirl up the bullet much, just stay to the tip.

They are not transfer proof, they do transfer a lot but do not vanish from the lips. They are quite pigmented and stay for around 3-4 hours, after which there is fading. But the deeper shades do leave a nice stain behind.

These are very moisturizing and comfortable on the lips, easy to apply, and do not bleed or feather. They are very easy to take off too, unlike matte liquid lipsticks, which are drying and uncomfortable and sometimes peel off the top layer of lips.

L-R: Subtle Island, Dial M for Magenta, The Brown Ultimatum, Revolutionary Rose, Berry Maguire

Subtle Island is described as Muted Brownish Pink. It’s an everyday wear MLBB shade for fair to medium skintones.

Dial M for Magenta is a deep magenta purple. Again a nice purple pink, would work for all skintones.

The Brown Ultimatum is a nude brown, for fair to medium skintones

Revolutionary Rose is a rosy pink, would work for all skintones. My favourite out of the lot.

Berry Maguire is a deep berry red, a nice muted berry, would work for all skintones.

Here are the swatches on me..

I hope you liked the post, do let me know your favourites in the comments below. I believe one shade option would be available in the next Fab Bag 🙂 Guessing for now :p

They come in a square black packaging and have a round, flat bullet. These are not matte but not extremely glossy either, a normal semi matte finish.

I love the pigmentation and staying power of these, they do survive meals and don’t go away completely. With touch up you can pretty much wear them all day. And they are very light and comfortable on the lips.

The five new shades launched are:

L-R: The Twilight Rose, Brownton Abbey, Call Me Salmon, True Oxblood, Six Feet Umber

07 The Twilight Rose is a medium neutral rosy pink. Perfect everyday wear shade

08 Brownton Abbey is a medium milk chocolate brown, can be a good MLBB for deep skin tones

09 Better Call Salmon is a peachy nude (pink brown mix) Another MLBB for fair to medium skin tones

10 True Oxblood is a berry with pink undertones, good night time shade.

11 Six Feet Umber is a berry brown mix and my absolute favourite. This shade is universal and will work on all skin tones

Here is a mini swatch video..

My favourites are The Twilight Rose, Brownton Abbey and Six Feet Umber. Also like Better Call Salmon, I guess all 😀

I do recommend these, let me know your favourites in the comments below.

Sugar Lash Mob Limitless Mascara Review, Pictures

Sugar Lash Mob Limitless Mascara Review, Pictures

Hi guys,

I love Sugar Cosmetics lip products, their lipsticks and lip crayons are really good. Even the kajals and eyeliners are of great quality, considering they manufacture at Schwan Stabilo in Germany where majority of the brands do.

So now they have launched a mascara. This is the basic black shade called ‘Black with a Bang’, I feel they will be launching more shades in mascara real soon and that would be interesting as we don’t have many colored mascaras in India.

Claims: Looking for a magic wand that will transform you from Plain Jane to Queen Bee in seconds? The all-new Lash Mob Limitless Mascara from SUGAR gives you just the drama your eyes need! Whether you’re a fan of super volume or clump-free formula, we bet that your lashes will thank you once you’ve had your first date with this beauty. Creamy-textured and incredibly easy to apply, this paraben-free Mascara does a stellar job of separating, defining and combing through each lash so you’ll experience lashes like never before!

Benefits: This wonder mascara houses specially designed micro-bristles that lift, separate and unstick every lash hair and coat it with our clump-free volumizing formula. That’s not all! This game-changing makeup product also boosts the growth of your natural lashes thanks to the nourishing vitamins in the tube and contains anti-oxidants that protect them from pollutants. How’s that for packing so much punch in one miracle product!

MRP: Rs.699 for 9ml (Buy HERE)

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Synthetic Beeswax, Paraffin, Iron Oxides CI 77499, Stearic Acid, Acacia Senegal Gum (Acacia Senegal), Triethanolamine, Butylene Glycol, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax (Cera Carnauba), Polybutene, Triacontanyl PVP, Glyceryl Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Sodium Stearate, Polyquaternium-65

It comes in a slender matte black tube packaging. The brush is nice and thick and I thought it would be quite volumizing looking at the brush.

I prefer slightly wet formulas in mascaras because that helps coat lashes well. The formula of this is dry, not stiff dry but not wet either.

It lengthens and curls the lashes but does not give enough volume. If you try to layer with multiple coats for volume, it clumps up the lashes.

I am not sure of the lash growth claim as I am not using it everyday. But if you just need some curl and length on an everyday basis and it also helps in the growth of the lashes when used everyday, this is a good work wear option.

It comes off very easily at the end of the day as it’s not waterproof, but this makes this easily smudgable. It transfers easily on lower lashline and smudges with even slight rubbing.

Before, 1 coat, multiple coats

Here you can see my before-after with one coat and 2-3 coats. I like how it defines and curls with one coat, which is good enough for everyday. But as you can see here, it clumps with more coats and transfers on lower lashline.

It is decent for everyday use, but considering the price, I wouldn’t recommend it as it’s very expensive. I love my Essence mascaras which are fabulous and very affordable.
