Yes..Undress Me Too Palette is Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette Dupe..and a much affordable dupe 🙂

What the Company claims: The Undress Me Too Palette embraces this season’s fresh-faced look and urges you to strip back and go nude! Made up of 12 warm and timeless shades, this palette will suit all skin tones and any occasion.

MRP: £4.00 (Approx Rs.400/-)

It comes in their standard packaging with a clear plastic top and one sponge tip applicator..has 12 shades..this time they have named the shades..instead of the numbers always..

Basically these are cool toned neutrals..and a mix of matte and satin shadows..

1st row:

Naked: Matte Beige..almost invisible on the skin
Devotion: Light Gold
Shy: Light Silver
Fiery: Copper
Lavish: Matte Taupe
Dreamy: Bronze Brown

2nd row:

Tranquil: Cool toned old gold
Exposed: Light silver grey
Reveal: Cool toned silver
Wink: Bronze with purple undertones
Obsessed: Purply Chocolate brown

Pros:

1. Super economical.
2. Perfect cool toned neutrals.
3. Great for everyday wear and work wear.
4. Mix of satin and matte.
5. Shades complement each other well.
6. Decent pigmentation..especially of the satin finish.

8. Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette Dupe..at a much lesser price !

Cons:

1. Matte shades are dry and not that pigmented.

Garnier BB Cream Review, Swatches

Garnier BB Cream Review, Swatches and Comparision with Maybelline BB Cream

I know this is quite an outdated review for many of you..I am very late..but nonetheless..better late than never..

What the Company claims:

Ingredients:

MRP: Rs.99/- for 18g, Rs.199/- for 40g

It comes in a small tube packaging..thats almost the size of your palm..quite similar to the Maybelline BB Cream..has the same small nozzle type dispensor..
Unfortunately Garnier one comes in only one shade..does suit me well..and anyone around NC 35-40 should not have much of a problem..above that, it might be a little lighter..but I guess it would blend up well.

Its light in texture as claimed and is moisturising too (but dry skin would need added moisture)..has SPF 24 UVA/UVB protection..covers up redness and evens skin tone..medium coverage..and stays for 3-4 hours after which it starts getting shiny and needs touch up.

Compared to the Maybelline BB Cream in Nude,

Maybelline comes in 3 shades (that have yellow undertones) and Garnier has one shade (might be lighter for people above NC 40)..Maybelline has SPF 21 and Garnier has SPF 24, Maybelline is more creamier and works better for dry skin, Garnier would work more for oily skin, Coverage wise Maybelline offers a tad bit more coverage.

T-B: Garnier BB, Maybelline BB in Nude

I loved using this and it was a staple until I found my love..another BB Cream..would review soon..

I do recommend this for oily combination skin and who do not need much coverage..its handy, economical and works well.

Rating:

Quality: 3.75/5
Value for money: 4/5
Availability: 4/5

Overall Rating: 4/5

Would I buy it again: Yes..I do like it..but as I said I have found my love and I think I would stick to that..wait up for that 😀

The Body Shop Color Crush Eyeshadows Review, Swatches

The Body Shop Color Crush Eyeshadows Brownie & Clyde, Moonlight Kiss Review, Swatches

I had mentioned about my The Body Shop Haul HERE..I am reviewing those two color crush eye shadows today. What the Company claims: An intensely pigmented, eye-shadow with a silky-soft texture. It’s easy to blend and great for building layers of colour. Dermatalogically and Ophthalmologically tested. Suitable for contact lens wearers.

Intense colour
Matte finish
Silky-soft texture
Available in 11 shades.

Shades Available: Berry Cheeky, Berry Cute, Blackcurrent Affair, Blue Over You, Moonlight Kiss, Brownie & Clyde, Sugar Glaze, Sand by Me, Chat-Up-Lime, Caramel Flirt, Boyfriend Jeans

MRP: Rs.695/- for 1.5g

This comes in a small single pan plastic packaging..but its quite sturdy and clicks shut…the eyeshadow pan can always be depotted if you wish to..

225 Brownie & Clyde is a pearl finish taupe brown..a perfect everyday neutral shade..you can wear to work..and add some smokiness or smudge a kohl beneath for turning it to a night look..

015 Moonlight Kiss is a perfect matte black..super duper pigmented..and stays for hours..no fall outs, no creasing..

Why a perfect matte black eye shadow is an absolute necessity in your makeup kit ?

  • For black smokey eyes ofcourse
  • For any smokey eyes..to intensify the smokiness in the outer corners.
  • To be used as a liner…with a slanted angular brush
  • To set your kohl and make it stay all day..just use a cotton bud and dip into your matte black eyeshadow and layer the kohl with it..this would absorb the moisture and kohl stays longer.
  • For easy soft smokey eyes, just smudge some kohl and a matte black eyeshadow lightly.

These are silky smooth in texture and super duper pigmented..especially the Moonlight Kiss..do not crease and stay put whole day !

Here are the swatches..

Pros:

1. Super smooth texture.

2. Amazing pigmentation.
3. Does not crease or fade.
4. Stays put whole day.
5. Available in 11 shades.
6. Can be used both wet and dry..and more rich when used wet.

Cons:

1. A little expensive but if I compare them to MAC..these are quite affordable.

Overall I love these..both these shades are my absolute favorites..Sugar Glaze and Caramel Flirt are pretty too..I love taupes so chose Brownie & Clyde..a good everyday neutral and a rich matte black eyeshadow every girl should have and I found my black ! Highly recommend these..Moonlight Kiss is much better in terms of texture and pigmentation compared to MAC Carbon eyeshadow..and both are 1.5g.

MUA Merged Trio Eyeshadow Legendary Review, Swatches

MUA Merged Trio Eyeshadow Legendary Review, Swatches

What the Company claims: Fall in love with MUA’s new improved formula Merged Baked Eye Shadows

With three complimentary shades these blendable trios bring day, dusk and evening drama – just what every girl needs! Each contains two tone threads of colour creating a beautiful shimmer, sparkly enough to satisfy the glitter craving in you!

From your sexy nude tones with ‘Legendary’ to your sultry blues, each soft but durable trifecta of colour will hold up pigmentation for hours. Use the palest shade as a wash over the eye and under the lid, pop the middle shade in the inner corner and use the darkest shade blending out to the outer corner.

For highlighting the cheeks try using the lightest shade sweeping just above the cheekbone to create a pearly glow.

MRP: £3.00

MUA has come up with these merged baked eyeshadow trios..where you see different colored veins on one shadow..and so it looks different in different lights..kinda duochrome..

It comes in three variants: Theatrics, Emotions and Legendary..

I got the Legendary one..it has a frosty silver white, coppery pink with silver shimmer and a light frosty pink..as these are baked, can be used wet or dry..the colors are more intense when used wet..

It comes with a small dual sided sponge applicator..and actually baked eyeshadows work well with a sponge tip applicator..I use the same..

Dry Swatches
Wet Swatches

This trio is good for subtle everyday look..has a bit of fall out since its shimmery..but does not crease and stays for 5-6 hours with a primer..I quite like the highlighter shade..works well for the inner corners too..and the coppery pink when used wet..works well with Indian wear..overall a decent trio..but skip it if you do not like shimmer in eyeshadows.

I like the Theatrics more..the other two variants look more pigmented than the Legendary..

Sleek MakeUP Matte Me, Gloss Me Review, Swatches

Sleek MakeUP Matte Me Rioja Red, Gloss Me Kiss & Tell, Cranberry Crush Review, Swatches

I had mentioned about Sleek MakeUP’s Matte Me and Gloss Me HERE
What the Company claims: With 6 stunning shades to choose from, Sleek MakeUP’s Gloss Me will be the name on everyone’s lips, literally. At last, long lasting lip gloss with plenty colour power as well as staying power is finally here! Strong pigment takes lips from normal to note-worthy in just one slick. The versatile make up bag staple can be layered over lipstick for extra gloss or used alone.

Alternatively, set your artistic side free and use together to make your own signature shade. No smudging or budging means matte truly is back to stay.

Matte Me Shades: Fandango Purple, Brink Pink, Rioja Red, Party Pink, Petal & Birthday Suit

Gloss Me RRP £4.99 or $6.99 each
Matte Me RRP £4.99 or $6.99 each

Today I am reviewing the shades 438 Kiss & Tell and 439 Cranberry Crush in Gloss Me and 433 Rioja Red in Matte Me

Comes in a regular square transparent gloss packaging with a black cap..has a doe foot applicator.

Kiss & Tell is bright orangey blue toned red with silver bluish shimmer and Cranberry Crush is a sheerer watermelon pink with silver shimmer again.

Rioja Red is a bright blue toned true red.

Gloss Me are loaded with shimmer and sticky in formula..though they stay well and are good in pigmentation..I would say these are like any other normal glosses..nothing too different..

On the other hand, Matte Me are amazing..completely matte but yet non drying, full opaque coverage..and stays well..but ya they do flake a little with eating and drinking and needs to be reapplied…and one has to apply neatly with a brush and work before it sets which is about in a few minutes..

Swatches..my mehendi is peeping in :p

T-B: Rioja Red, Kiss & Tell, Cranberry Crush

Here is it on me..

L-R: Kiss & Tell, Cranberry Crush, Rioja Red

I made the mistake of not using a lip brush for Matte Me..and sorry for the uneven application..I would suggest using a lip brush for Matte Me for a neat, even and proper application..it takes some time to set..but once set is completely matte.

Overall I loved the Matte Me..and found the Gloss Me pretty ok..good in pigmentation and staying power..I would have preferred less stickiness and shimmer though..

I am reviewing the shade Peachy Sweetie..

Creamy Cinnamon is a soft tan peachy brown, Fresh Coral is a peachy coral and Peachy Sweetie is a peachy pink..

I love how it gives a natural just out of the gym flush to my cheeks ! Finally a matte blush from a drugstore brand in India..that is quiet economical too ! I like I like :p

The packaging is flimsy..would shatter if dropped even once..does not come with a mirror or brush but I think its ok..at this price, we are getting a good enough quantity of blush..7g is hugee..

T-B: Unblended, Blended

Stays for 4-5 hours and then needs to be reapplied..I guess it would stay lesser on oily skin.

4. Economical.
5. Easily available.
6. Easy to use.

3. Staying power could have been better.

Overall I would say its quiet good..the qty, the price, and its matte..I love this shade..surely recommend it..

I would definitely gift this to many of my friends and its good for bridal makeup trousseau too..those who are new to blushes and want to start and are in college and want an affordable option..
