Lakme had launched 8 shimmer liners in the Fantasy Collection.
All these are shimmery liquid liners with a cute small bottle and a long handle. The brush is normal liquid liner brush and not felt tip. I guess felt tip would have been easier.
Astral Green is a nice shimmery light green..These are not water proof..but stay on well for 3-4 hours.
Pros:
1. These are decent enough in consistency. 2. Easy to use. 3. Stay on well for 3-4 hours. 4. All 8 colors are very pretty and would look good esp the Midnight Moon and the Moonshine Top Coat. 5. Nice packaging. 6. Priced decently.
Cons:
1. I wish the quantity was a little more. 2. All colors together are never available at the counter..there are always only 4-5. 3. These are not water proof..so one has to be careful in that. 4. As these are shimmery..these are not for day time.

I had described more about Nature’s Brilliance and Sue in my previous post here where I reviewed the mineral eye shadows.
Today I am reviewing the Mineral Color Set consisting of mineral blush/eye color and Cranberry Butter lipstick.
The Cranberry Butter Lipstick is in the shade ‘Bordeaux’ which is champagne brown pink and ‘Peach Sunset’ which is a peachy orange..but comes out very sheer on the lips like a lip balm.
All lip products now also contain tangerine oil and Vitamin C.

Pros:
1. Its made up of all natural ingredients. 2. Very very creamy and smooth to glide on. 3. Keeps lips very moisturized. 4. The color stays on for 2-3 hours. 5. Wide variety of colors.
Cons:
1. It tends to melt. 2. Colors like Peach Sunset come out very sheer and hardly show up. 3. A white layer forms on the lipstick and there are some minute grainy things which may be the natural ingredients that come up in between. 4. Its only available in US and Canada right now.
The Blush is in the shade 001MCS which I did not find the shade of on the site. Its a soft shimmery pink which looks a little brown in the jar.

Goes on very silky and stays on all day.

1. The blush is as it claims…goes on silky.. 2. Stays for a decent amount of time. 3. These colors can be used both as a blush or eye color. 4. Again its mineral color and suitable for sensitive skin too. 5. The colors are very pretty in this range from pinks,peaches,beige,rose,orange,corals.
Cons:
1. Most of the colors are shimmery..so not for day time use. 2. And as it does not ship to India 🙁

We all love Nude lipsticks or those My Lips But Better shades…dont we..but nude does not mean concealer shade lips which a few people think like..it just means the color closest to your lips and which looks natural on your lips or the one which looks just like you have nothing on and those are your natural lips.
Colors like MAC Fleshpot or Creme D’ Nude or Myth will totally wash out our Indian skin tones.
I am a big time fan of nudes..So I wanted to share few nude shades which I have and love…and I like to use them on daily basis as they are just perfect nudes and not OTT.
The shades which I have and love are
Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in My Mahagony..which is my most favorite..its a peachy brown shade and looks very natural on me. Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 132..its from the Fantasy Collection..its a brown based pink..and looks exactly like my lips…I love this too.. And my recent purchase Lotus Herbals Moist Petals Natural Haze which is again a peachy pink brown based color…a little more on pink side.

Maybelline Colorsensational Crazy for Coffee..for medium to dusky tones..its a brown based nude.
Maybelline Colorsensational Totally Toffee and Nearly There for medium to fair tones…they are more pink based.
Chambor Silk Woods..very pretty nude brown…super creamy…I love this color..and eyeing it too.
Revlon Colorburst Rosy Nude..this would suit medium to dusky skin tones more..its again a brown based pink…though it looks dark in the tube…its not so OTT.
There are a few other which I like and in high end brands too..would discuss them some time later 🙂
The Fantasy Collection had 4 shades in Shadow Artist Shimmer Stick..I have the one in Astral Blue which is anyways my most favorite of all the 4 shades.
These are Fat chubby eye pencils which can be used both as an eye pencil and as an eye shadow. It works great in combination with different colors of eye shadows. I used it here in my FOTD wit MAC Brash and Bold Pigment. You can mix and match it with different colors.
Astral Blue is a deep ink blue color..very similar to MAC Siahi Fluidline. The other colors are Moon Beam which is a silvery grey, Glimmer Green which is a light shimmery green and Starry Night which is a light night blue color.
Pros:
1. These are super creamy and soft..easily blendable and glides on nicely. 2. Works great with different eyeshadows too. 3. Dupes of NYX Jumbo eye pencils which are not easily available in India. 4. Economical in price. 5. Easily available at all Lakme Counters. 6. It did not sting my water line…so can be used there too. 7. I am in love with this ink blue color..!!
Cons:
1. These are soft and so smudge easily too if used alone. 2. You need a big sharpener to sharpen this. 3. Only 4 colors available…there should have been much more. 4. I guess if you need a pointed tip always and sharpen too much..these would finish off soon.

I have the shade 249. Its a milky pink color..very nice for daily wear. Would go well with both casuals and formals. The shade is exactly similar to Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 131.

Please ignore my short nails and cuticles..I do torcher them during exams and they would take some time to be back to original again :p
The color is very sheer actually and 1 coat of it hardly shows up..you have to apply 2 coats for it to show up. But overall its a pretty color..and I liked it. I also liked 247 which is a champagne brown color and 250 which is a guava pink color. I have reviewed the True Wear Nail color here before.

I got Natural Haze which is a peachy brown and Pink Petal which is exactly similar to Maybelline Colorsensational Pink Petal…it is swatched lightly coz there was no tester of it but since I bought it…the SA swatched it lightly.

At first I got scared seeing such a dark color…but its a very pretty crimson red…which I have started loving…although I do not wear it outside…:/
The best thing about these lipsticks is they are super hydrating, not at all dry and lasts long..and are super pigmented…one swipe is enough.
Pros:
1. I love the packaging…its different and nice. 2. These are super pigmented and very moisturising. 3. Contains herbal and natural ingredients. 4. Stays for a long time…atleast 3-4 hours. 5. Economical and totally worth the price.
Cons:
1. Some times settles into fine lines. 2. Lotus Cosmetics are not available everywhere and thats the biggest problem 🙁

My Mahagony is my favorite from this range..its a nude peachy brown with pink undetones..though I love many other colors too…My Mahagony is a perfect MLBB for me….and I wear it the most as I love nude colors…there are some other pretty nude colors in this range..more on that later.

1. The Packaging is pretty. 2. They are very creamy and glide on well. 3. Nicely pigmented and stay on better than other creamy lipsticks…they stay for around 2-3 hours and do not fade completely. 4. Amazing array of colors to choose from…there is one for everyone. 5. Economical for the price. 6. It feels very light on the lips.
Cons:
1. Staying power is low. 2. Few may not like the smell..
I think everyone would have 1-2 favorites from this range….as the colors are pretty much to everyone’s liking.

This quad is the most versatile quad I have seen….its perfect for both formal and casual wear..and I think its a must have for all..Though now they have come up with New Expert eyes quad in 14 different combinations and a different packaging and shades and it has a green too..but at the same price..check them out here
They have given instructions at the back for different types of looks.

All the colors have lid,crease,etc written on them..but I do no advice using the shimmery copper color on crease..it wont look good…
The lid color is a matte light brown. The outer V is a matte dark chocolate brown. The brow bone color is a beige with slight silver shimmer. The crease is a coppery shimmery bronze.
These swatches are without a base..the crease and outer corner colors are pigmented..the lid and brow bone do not show up much without a base..
Pros:
1. The colors are nice and versatile. 2. Economical and quite a lot of product..so would last long. 3. Stay on for 3-4 hours without a base. 4. Has a mix of matte and shimmery shades. 5. Easy to carry around. 6. The coppery crease color is good for Indian wear and rest good for casual and formal wear. 7. The crease and outer corner colors are decently pigmented. 8. The outer corner shade works for filling in brows too.
Cons:
1. The lid and brow bone color are not so pigmented…they don’t show up well without base. 2. The applicators are of no use.
There are other quads in these like Time for Wine, Emerald Smokes, etc..but I guess the 14 different combos in the new quads are much better..lot to choose from !!
This quad is surely recommended..quite versatile and perfect for everyday.
