Lakme Enrich Satin Lipsticks 132,138 Review, Swatches

Lakme Enrich Satin Lipsticks 132,138 Review, Swatches

Lakme Enrich Satin shades 131 to 138 are from the new Lakme Fantasy Collection…out of the eight..131 to 134 are non shimmery and 135 to 138 are shimmery.

Lakme Enrich Satin Lipsticks 132,138

132 is a nude pink brown…an MLBB shade for me…looks like second skin..one would not make out if I am wearing a lipstick..I loved this shade…

138 is a deep berry wine color with lots of silver shimmer..perfect for night time or with something traditional like a dark saree…

T-132 B- 138

Pros:

1. These are moisturising enough…you can easily skip a lip balm when using these.
2. The collection has more of pink this time than the usual browns.
3. Darker colors have a decent staying power of 2-3 hours and they leave behind a tint.
4. 131,132 and 133 are more on the nude pink side..those colors are very pretty for daily wear.
5. I love the shade 132 ! Its my MLBB and I am wearing it daily.

Cons:

1. The same old Lakme packaging..and with no names…just the numbers to confuse us more :/
2. It has an artificial smell and a weird taste which I did not like.
3. The lighter colors like 132 hardly stay for 1-2 hours without eating or drinking.
4. I would have preferred more colors in this range..and preferably non shimmery ones more.
5. Shimmer strays outside the lips in shimmery ones like 138.

Lotus Herbals Color Marvel Nail Color Review,Fiery Orange NOTD

Lotus Herbals have two types of nail paints Color Marvel and Color Dew and recently they have come up with a new range of Color Dew nail paints. Color Marvel are the round bottles and Color Dew are the long and sleek ones.

Here are the shades available..

What the Company claims: A unique non-toxic formulation, which is Acetone, Toluene & DBP-free, keeps nails healty & shiny for the long. The extended, flat & sturdy brush ensures even & Zero-streak application.

Side-effects of Acetone on nail cuticles are :
it dehydrats them
makes them fragile
makes them dull and dry
it can irritate skin
Toluene, found in common lacquers and nail polish: is a skin irritant. And so is DBP.

MRP: Rs.90/- for 8ml

I have the color Fiery Orange 986 and a beige golden color with no name. :/

Fiery Orange is a peachy orange color with fine golden shimmer and the other one is light beige golden color with fine golden shimmer again.

Fiery Orange

Beige Golden

Pros:

1.  Its Acetone, DBP and Toluene free.
2. The color stays without chipping for 7 days !!
3. The brush is super awesome…non messy, fuss free application in a minute.
4. 2 coats are enough for a perfect color.
5. Dries super fast.
6. Economical at the price..Maybelline and Lakme stand at the same price but this surpasses them in quality.

Cons:

1. Availability is a problem with Lotus Herbals Cosmetics.
2. Do not rely on the shades on site..see 986 shows a pink when its an orange..total mismatch..

Pros:

1. I like the cute small bottle.
2. They are very cheap at Rs. 45/- and have all the colors.
3. All the colors in this range give a nice glossy finish.

Cons:

1. It chipped in 2-3 days..ok I was’nt even expecting more.
2. Its very sheer..so one needs 2-3 coats minimum for a color to show up.
3. The brush is ok.

Also an update on Maybelline Colorama..I tried Cremosa Nude before and loved it…it stayed on me for 5-6 days without chipping but Cremosa sexy..a hot pink shade..chipped in around 3 days..actually it started peeling off at the starting tips..I dunno why..and the consistency is also a bit different.

Also my friend got these cute little lip balm and shower gel from Dubai..

Phew…thats all… :p :p

Both the colors gold and olive green has golden shimmer…these are creamy and pretty smooth.
Green, Gold

Pros:
1. They are vivid and smooth as per their name…they glide on easily and no need to tug or pull skin to use this.
2. The colors are pretty..and there is a white too..which is not available in many brands..white pencils help open up eyes..
3. They are quite economical at Rs.199/-
4. They are to be sharpened..so hygienic..
5. I use the gold color in my inner corners of eyes to make them appear bigger and brighten up eyes.
6. These do not smudge and stay on for a long time.
Cons:
1. These are shimmery..and the shimmer does show up around the eyes..so these are good for ocassions..but I prefer matte ones for daily use..
2. These do not claim to be opthamologically tested and waterline safe.
3. No names on the pencils…though there are colored tips at the bottom..but in case we talk about green..there are 3 greens in this range..and its difficult to identify which.
4. These are very creamy and tend to break if not handled carefully..I have to be conscious closing the cap.

Maybelline Unstoppable Eye Liner Review,Espresso Swatch

Maybelline Unstoppable Eye Liner Review,Espresso Swatches

I got the Maybelline Unstoppable liner is espresso..its a chocolate brown color…and in a twist up form.

What the Company claims:

  • Smudge-proof, stay-put, waterproof formula won’t budge until you want it to.

2. It stays put for quiet a long time…around 6-7 hours on the upper lashline and 4-5 hours on lower lashline too.
3. Its waterline safe and does not irritate eyes at all.
4. Its a mechanical pencil…so sharpening it properly would be a problem..but you can see the amount of product     you get…I love twist up pencils for that.
5. Economical.
6. The cap is brown so you can see the color.
7. Does not smudge much.
8. A thick line and bit of smudging with fingers gives a nice smokey effect.

Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipsticks Review, Swatches

Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipsticks Review, Swatches

Maybelline never ever fails to impress me with its products, quality, colors, shades, everything and that too at reasonable prices…though there may be a few duds..but mostly things have worked for me..
Maybelline Colorsensational range is very nice with 35-45 colors and all..but I like Maybelline Mositure Extreme too.
I have three shades in it…which are Silver Sand, Chestnut and Bronzy Orange..

What the Company claims: Active power of a lip balm provides deep moisturization for voluptuous lips drenched in color.
56 sumptuous shades across every shade family to complement all skin tones
Non-feathering and non-bleeding
SPF 15 protection ( From site)

MRP: Rs 220/-  for 4g

Silver Sand is a light brown color with a hint of silver shimmer but not very visible..just gives a shine to lips
Chestnut is a true dark pink
Bronze Orange is a true orange color and my favorite these days…its a very pretty color and could be sheer with a lip balm to dark with 2 coats..as I like it…depending on the mood and occasion.

L-R: Chestnut, Bronze Orange, Silver Sand

I wore Bronzy Orange with a lipbalm in my Bite of an Apple FOTD

Pros:
1. They are very moisturising and give a nice finish to the lips.
2. The color is buildable and can be used as one likes them…as they are very nicely pigmented.
3. They are reasonable at this price.
4. They have some very nice colors.. and there is one for everyone.
5. They feel light on lips.
6. They are non feathering and non bleeding as per the claim.
7. Staying power is 3-4 hours without eating or drinking.

Cons:
1. The packaging is ok..it has a rounded cap and has to be stored upside down with the names and numbers underneath…so finding becomes a problem.
2. The site mentions 56 shades..but I dont think these many are available in India.
3.These are being neglected after Colorsensational range came..and was even said to be discontinued..I hope it doesnt..this has pretty colors and I like the texture too..
4. SPF 15 mentioned on site but not on lipsticks..so I am not too sure..
