May 2017 Sip Of Summer My Envy Box Review, Unboxing
Hi guys,
I received the May My Envy Box today. I absolutely love the watermelon print, it’s so refreshing and looks like water colours. Although the edges came a bit torn, the box looks real good.
The theme is ‘Sip of Summer’ this month and it’s a summer edition box.
Products I received:
The Nature’s Co. Mango Creme Body Wash- Rs.695/- for 175ml
Cheryl’s Dermashade Sunblock SPF 30- Rs.550/- for 50g
Fuschia Herbal Fusion Shampoo (Rs.450/- for 100ml)
Grecobe Green Coffee (Rs.70 for 5 sachets)
Omorfee Mellow Drizzle Skin Toner (4ml x 2 vials)
L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream, Reine Blanche Illuminating Cream and Serum sachets
I am super impressed with the first three products, the quantity is amazing, 3 full sized products! I have tried the Cheryl’s Sunblock before and it’s quite good. The Mango body wash is perfect for the season and smells yumm.
The Fuschia shampoo is little expensive for the price, but I haven’t tried haircare from this brand, so looking to trying that out.
Green Coffee is meant to boost metabolism and aid in weight loss and improve stamina, so you can try these sachets and see if you notice any difference, before investing in the bigger size.
Rest are small samples, the Omorfee toner looks interesting though considering it has sour honey, lavender, cucumber, rose, etc.
Overall, I would say I am pretty impressed and do recommend this month’s box. The total value of the products in the box comes to around Rs.2000/-
I know I am a little late this time in the unboxing of Fab Bag. I am at my parents’ place and the Fab Bag gets delivered at my place and from there I got it here today.
The theme this month is ‘Bring It On’. The bag is a bright pink clutch, it’s nice to travel along with and it fits many things in.
Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Lip Crayon in Mary Poppins (Full size- Rs.799/-)
O3+ Derma Fresh Mask – 50g (Full size- Rs.425/-)
MCaffeine Neem Caffeine Face wash (50ml) – Full size Rs.449/- for 150ml
The Nature’s Co. Fucus Anti-Ageing Cream (20ml)- Full size Rs.895/- for 50ml
Wella EIMI Perfect Me BB Lotion (6ml)- Full size Rs.900/- for 100ml
I had an option to choose one makeup product and Sugar Matte Lip Crayons were also a part of those options. I was confused between Mary Poppins and Rose Dawson and didn’t have both, but finally went with Mary Poppins as I have many nudes and this is a very unique bright pink.
Also liking the full size face mask, would be trying it out right now. Rest three products are deluxe sized samples. The face wash looks decent, not very happy with the anti-ageing cream, I would have liked a scrub or day/night cream.
I have the full size bottle of the Wella Perfect Me BB Lotion and it’s really good! The 6ml sachet should be worth Rs.54/- but the sachet mentions Rs.150/- which is more than 3 times the value.
Overall the value of all the products comes to around Rs. 1790/- I am happy with the lipstick and face mask. I love the Wella BB Lotion and would be carrying this sachet the next time I travel. I am not sure about the face wash and anti-ageing cream but I don’t mind trying those.
Also got a special discount coupon from Housejoy, INR 500 off on beauty services worth INR 999 and above.
The bag is pretty decent, not bad. Definitely worth buying.
It’s a green colored mesh bag, very helpful to see through products and I like carrying such mesh bags for travel, so that can identify what is stored.
Products I got:
Sea Soul Eyeshadow Duo in Deep Purple: Rs.950/-
The Nature’s Co. White Tea Night Cream (20ml): Rs.895/-for 50ml
Inveda SPF30 PA++ Sunscreen Cream Gel : Rs.275/- for 75ml
Nyassa Tea Tree Face Wash (30ml): Rs.400 /- for 145ml
To start with the Sea Soul Eyeshadow Duo, I absolutely love it! It has two shades and comes with a mirror, one is a deep bluish purple and the other is a duochrome gold/purple/denim blue shade. I can’t even describe how gorgeous the duochrome shade is. Both the shades are super pigmented and buttery. It’s an Australian HD makeup brand and I am so glad Fab Bag introduced a new brand this month. I have done a look with this eyeshadow duo on my YouTube channel HERE
I also loved the Inveda sunscreen cream gel, it’s very light and feels gel like in texture. Non sticky and gets easily absorbed, definitely using this up this month.
Nyassa tea tree face wash is also perfect for summers and this 30ml bottle is quite nice. Decent qty and good for travel too. The Nature’s Co. White Tea Night Cream is pretty expensive and this is a deluxe sized 20ml jar. Feels very rich and hydrating and perfect for night time, the smell is light and not very overpowering or bothering.
Overall, I would say I am pretty impressed with 2 full sized products including one new brand’s full sized makeup product. And two deluxe sized samples. I do like May’s Fab Bag and definitely recommend it.

The Nature’s Co. Founder unveils beauty essentials at work!
March being the financial year end calls for appraisal and promotion evaluations. Don’t you want to show the confiance inside out at this time of the year? We’re sure your desk drawers are fully supplied with pens and post-its, but what about beauty essentials? It’s important to keep an inventory of beauty must-haves at your workplace, after all, the amount of time we working ladies spend at our work desk, it makes it pretty much our second home.
TNC doesn’t leave a chance to help you look your best naturally, around the clock. This time Beauty Expert & Founder, The Nature’s Co, Natasha Shah, herself has rounded up 6 products in the March Special Gorgeous 9 to 5 Beauty Wish Box, that’ll work as hard as you do.
“Impromptu outdoor meetings or after-work plans, ‘freshening up’ or touch-ups become inevitable. These emergency fix-its have slowly filled up my desk, and I refuse to part with a single one, making me look and feel my best at all times. You’ll be ready for anything!” shares, Natasha.
She decodes some inside tips to keep you feeling gorgeous, confident and ready for any challenges the day might bring. Here is her daily beauty checklist:
1) Hydration: Keeping yourself hydrated keeps your body and mind active and fresh. Always have a bottle of water on your desk. Replace teas and coffees during work hours to green tea and lemongrass tea.
2) Moisturisation: Outdoor meeting and continuous air condition at work leads to skin dryness and damage. Treating your skin with the apt amount of moisture is necessary. Never skip your body lotion, day face cream, lip balm and hand cream quick retouches at work.
3) Quick Fixes: To freshen up anytime of the day a good face wash in your bag is a must have. When on the go wet wipes always help.
4) Grooming: Being well groomed helps to boost confidence level. Always keep a nail file, tweezers, an extra hair clutcher and hair ties handy to be looking perfect at any time.
5) Me – Time: Long hours in front of the computer screen causes a lot of strain to your back, neck and posture. Ensure you occasionally break into simple neck exercises and feet stretches to relax your muscles.
*Personal Tip* : Take a break from the screen. Make sure you get up every hour for a few minutes and walk around your office. Avoid calling / emailing your colleagues, instead walk up to their desks, get up to get a drink, go near the window for some fresh air or get up to get your print or photocopy.
Find the handpicked recommendation in our March Special Gorgeous 9 – to – 5 Beauty Wish Box.

And my pouch contained the following samples :
The Nature’s Co. Coffee Face Scrub (Reviewed HERE) The Nature’s Co. Cocoa Body Scrub The Nature’s Co. Red and Green Tea Sunscreen Lotion (Reviewed HERE) The Nature’s Co. Jasmine Body Mist The Nature’s Co. Citronella Insect Repellent The Nature’s Co. Mixed Berry Body Lotion The Nature’s Co. Sandalwood Hair Cleanser cum Conditioner The Nature’s Co. Orange- Lemon Soap Citronella Insect Repellant and Jasmine Body Mist are freebies..
I have already tried the coffee face scrub and love it ! And also the red and green tea sunscreen which I am not much a fan of..Actually I would have liked something I have not tried till date..but then there is no questionnaire asking us which products you have already tried 😀 And pretty much everyone received the same products..so there was no customisation too.. I would have liked if products would have given according to skin type and issues.. I am loving the cocoa body scrub and Jasmine body mist..and the mixed berry lotion too..yet to try out the Sandalwood hair cleanser though.. I also received a 10 minute complimentary spa session voucher and a 35% off voucher on The Nature’s Co. Products which can be redeemed at their stores..plus a Sterling holidays voucher which requires you to fulfill some conditions obviously 😀 Overall at Rs.595/- where you get a different cute packaging every month and different 8 products..which are samples of good enough quantity..I would say this box is quite worth it ! Highly recommend ! Have you tried The Nature’s Co. Beauty Wish Box yet ?
The Nature’s Co. Red and Green Tea Sunscreen Lotion ReviewThis is a review long overdue..and there are lots coming more coming 😀 I am exhausted..what a tiring day..just sorting out stuff..and now I have to review so much 😮 I would love it, if you guys can help me out..see HERE.
What the Company claims: You can bravely face the sun with this all-natural sun protector. Red Tea will shield your skin from harsh UV rays while providing you with essential moisturizing and conditioning while Green Tea has powder anti-oxidants properties.
Massage gently onto your face, neck, hands and other exposed parts of body at least 30 minutes before going out into sun.
MRP: Rs.375/- for 125ml
Ingredients: Ingredients: Red tea extract, Green tea extract, Olive oil, Vitamin – E, Aloe Vera extract, Sesame oil, Grape seed oil
It falls under the Starrize Collection. It comes in a fat tube packaging like all The Nature’s Co. Products.
Has a strong green/red tea smell..I am not a fan :/ Its light yellow in color and has a medium consistency..not too runny like a lotion..takes some time to absorb.
Its a nice natural sunscreen without the added chemicals..coz for higher sun protection, there are loads of chemicals in sunscreens from zinc oxide to what not..and the best thing is no white cast as in most of the sunscreens..but this does not have any SPF or PA mentioned sadly..so cannot say a fool proof way of protection from sun….but if you are someone who sweat out with sunscreen or do not like using one, you can try this..
Pros:
1. All Natural sunscreen without the chemicals.
2. No whitish cast.
3. Does not sweat out.
4. Tube packaging..easy to use.
5. Qty is good enough for the price.
Cons:
1. No SPF or PA protection mentioned.
2. Would not be safe for days when you are going to be under the sun for longer hours.
Overall I would say its a nice sunscreen for daily use..but not for long sun exposure..if you are someone who is used to a higher SPF sunscreen, you can skip this..but if you someone who do not like sunscreens or they sweat you out, you should surely try this..

Emollient-soothing, calming effect and anti-inflammatory.
Start your day with the soothing softness of Marshmallow, whose superior moisturizing leaves skin silky smooth. Its anti-inflammatory properties, calms the skin and protects it from irritating agents. Smooth a small amount over clean, toned skin as needed, using gentle upward strokes.
Net Wt: 50 ml (1.56 fl.oz) MRP: Rs. 725.00
Ingredients:
It comes in the typical Nature’s Co packaging of a tub with an inverted blue cap..it has a white cover inside..its off white in color..and has a sweet marshmallow smell. It is a part of the Atmosphere range of the Nature’s Co.
Its a little thick cream..worked well in summers..I do not use this in winters..since I prefer light lotions in summers..this would suit dry skin more.
Pros:
1. I like the Nature’s Co packaging..but the tub is an issue..dipping hands every time. 2. It does what it claims..soothes and calms skin. 3. Its moisturises skin well..and keeps it supple and soft. 4. No fuss ingredients..I liked grapeseed oil, avocado oil and Vitamin E along with marshmallow. 5. Quite a good amount of quantity.
Cons:
1. I find it a little heavy in summers..more suitable for dry skin. 2. Expensive. 3. The sweet marshmallow smell can be bothersome for few.
Overall its a nice day cream..no tall claims..just soothes and moisturises..does what it claims ! I would recommend this to dry skinned girls.

Would I buy it again: No..I prefer lighter lotions..may be in winters..
What the Company claims: Chocolate & Mint Lip Balm
Moisturizing, softening, soothing, and cooling.
Net Wt: 10 ml (0.3 fl.oz) MRP: Rs. 225.00
Ingredients:
Chocolate & Mint Lip Balm is a part of the Earthborne Range of the Nature’s Co. It comes in the trademark Nature’s Co. square packaging with an inverted top which closes opposite way.
This smells exactly like toffee ! I love the smell..quite unlike its fellow Body Butter..which did not please my nose..
But its a little hard in texture..and does not come out easily..and being in a tub..you need to dig in the fingers..which I do not much like..though it softened in summers..its not so emollient as a lip balm should be..
It comes out transparent…I do not find it very moisturising though..it would keep lips soft..but it cannot heal chapped lips..
Pros:
1. Love the toffee smell. 2. I like the packaging..though it occupies more space coz of the shape. 3. Keeps lips soft. 4. I liked the ingredients..shea butter, mango butter, etc 5. Economically priced for 10ml.
Cons:
1. Its a little hard in texture and does not come out easily…more so in winters. 2. Does not heal chapped lips. 3. Tub packaging.
Overall its like a normal lip balm..if you love the toffee smell..you can try it at the stores..I would have preferred it to be more moisturising and if it would have helped in healing chapped lips too. If you looking for something more healing..then I would not recommend this..
Rating:
Quality: 3.5/5 Value for money: 3.5/5 Availability: 3.5/5
Overall Rating: 3.5/5
Would I buy it again: No..I prefer more moisturising lip balms..but may be for the toffee smell 😀
P.S: Product sent by brand for review but it has not affected my opinion.
