Nov 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

I got the Nov ‘The Hit List’ Fab Bag just now. It’s a holo bag this time! I am a holosexual (Simply Nailogical reference), so love it!

Products I received:

  • The Nature’s Co Mandarin Sugar Body Scrub (Rs.425/- for 50g)
  • Kronokare Bash the Gloss Moisturizing Face Cream (Rs.292/- for 15g)
  • Bella Voste Ulti-Matte Chubby Stick – Full size (Rs.499/-)
  • Fadlor Naturalich Exotic Herbal Infusion Shampoo (Rs.100/- for 30ml)
  • Aroma Treasures Lavender Face Wash (Rs.64/- for 30ml)

I had an option to pick one shade out of 4-5 options for the Bella Voste Chubby Stick, I chose the nude one which is 01 Rose Crush. I expected it to be a rosy brown but it is more of a peachy pink shade. It’s a perfect everyday shade but would work for fair to medium skin tones, as it has less brown.

I do like Kronokare products because they are all natural and free of all chemicals. They keep adding new products and this one sounds really interesting and perfect for oily skin. It’s a light weight face moisturizer for oily to combination skin.

Aroma Treasures does make some good products but I wish they had disclosed all ingredients and not just key ones. I love the lavender scent though, it’s my favourite.

The Nature’s Co Mandarin Sugar Body Scrub is meant for oily skin. It smells so good, it has a fresh and natural orange scent and is very refreshing. It would last 2-3 uses as it is meant for entire body.

And finally Fadlor Naturalich is a new brand, this herbal shampoo sounds decent and I might give it a try during my travel. I prefer carrying such 30ml bottles when I am travelling for a week or less.

Overall I do like the mix of brands and variety of products. Though there is just one full sized product and rest are deluxe sized samples. I am not sure of the Kronokare size, but I would have preferred two full sized products 🙂 This month’s bag is decent I would say.

Oct 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

I got the Oct Fab Bag today, ya pretty quick this time and delivery on a Sunday. I did a quick unboxing video too.

The theme for this month is ‘Steal the Limelight’. It’s a gold-copper textured glittery bag, the bag is really nice, I just wish it was little bigger.

I had an option to pick one Sugar product from all the Sugar products and shades including the new Creme Lipsticks and the Smudge Me not new 10 shades.

I liked 1-2 shades in particular from the new additions and picked Greige Rage. I quite like this shade and happy with my choice 🙂

Mond’Sub Gold Facial Mask looks interesting, I haven’t tried it yet and look forward to trying it out.

Rest two are deluxe sized samples, the Kronokare City Detox Face Wash is a repetition which I am not happy with. Yuana Hair Oil looks decent but it has mineral oil in ingredients which I am not too excited about.

The total value of the products in the bag comes to Rs.1236/-

Overall I would say it’s an ok bag. If you are looking to get a new Sugar product anyway, then you can go for it as you get your product plus three additional things. Otherwise you can skip this month’s bag.

September 2017 Anniversary Fab Bag Unboxing + Giveaway

I am unboxing the Sept 2017 Anniversary Fab Bag today, I just received it. I got the August one pretty late and hence couldn’t do a review.

It’s an off white pouch, I expected something unique for the 5th Anniversary edition.

The theme for this month is The Object of Desire.

Products I got:

  • Seasoul Moisture Matt Lipstick Lead Free in Neon Purple (Full size- Rs.530)
  • Sugar Tip Tac Toe Nail Lacquer in Deep Down Diopside (Full Size- Rs.299)
  • Iraa Insta Renew Multi Action Under Eye Cream (Full size 20g- Rs.490)
  • Tvakh Midas Touch Ultra Nourishing Lip TInt- (Full size- Rs.195)
  • Tvakh CE- Namom Lip Plumper (Full size- Rs.225)
  • Seer Secrets Smoky Rose Geranium Body Cleanser 30ml (Rs.72)

I love the metallic turquoise color of the Sugar Nail Paint. The eye cream also sounds good. I am not a fan of shimmery lip balms, so the Tvakh Lip Balm is not something I am very excited about but Tvakh has a lot of good skincare in general, so I might give it a try.

The rose geranium body wash from Seer Secrets smells really good!

Tvakh Lip Plumper does sound good, will definitely try it. Cinnamon does help make lips plump, plus it has argan oil.

For Seasoul lipsticks, I had an option of pick one shade out of 7-8 and I picked this neon purple. I was very tempted to pick the nude one but I have enough nudes and I am into bright shades and purples currently.

The total value of the products in this month’s bag comes to around Rs.1800-1850. I do like the fact that there are 5 full sized products and one deluxe sized sample. But I would liked a variety in brands. Perhaps instead of two lip balms/plumper, one could have been a full sized Neemli face mask/scrub.

Overall it is definitely value for money and if you like trying out new brands, you will like it.

June 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

I got the June Fab Bag right now, I haven’t been keeping well and wasn’t going to do a video. But I thought of quickly doing one since many of you like and wait for the unboxing video.

The theme for this month is the ‘Boho Chic’ bag and the bag looks like a jute one. It is quite simple but sturdy and nice for travel.

  • Johara Creme Rich Lip Colour Cocoa Delight- Full size -Rs.395
  • Sugar Twist & Shout Fadeproof Kajal Black Velvet- Full size- Rs.399
  • BioBloom Foot Cream- Rs.335/- for 50g
  • APS Cosmetofood Activated Organic Spring Water- Rs.270/- for 50ml

I got 4 products in total, 2 full sized and 2 deluxe sized samples, the foot cream almost feels full sized but it’s not mentioned on the card.

Organic Spring Water is like Micellar water meant to cleanse and remove your makeup. I like the fact that it has a spray and cap and is perfect for travel.

The lipstick and kajal also look good, BioBloom products are all natural and chemical free, so looking forward to trying all the things.

The total value of the products in this month’s bag comes to around Rs.1500/- and I do recommend the June 2017 Fab Bag.

May 2017 Sip Of Summer My Envy Box Review, Unboxing

I received the May My Envy Box today. I absolutely love the watermelon print, it’s so refreshing and looks like water colours. Although the edges came a bit torn, the box looks real good.

The theme is ‘Sip of Summer’ this month and it’s a summer edition box.

Products I received:

  • The Nature’s Co. Mango Creme Body Wash- Rs.695/- for 175ml
  • Cheryl’s Dermashade Sunblock SPF 30- Rs.550/- for 50g
  • Fuschia Herbal Fusion Shampoo (Rs.450/- for 100ml)
  • Grecobe Green Coffee (Rs.70 for 5 sachets)
  • Omorfee Mellow Drizzle Skin Toner (4ml x 2 vials)
  • L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream, Reine Blanche Illuminating Cream and Serum sachets

I am super impressed with the first three products, the quantity is amazing, 3 full sized products! I have tried the Cheryl’s Sunblock before and it’s quite good. The Mango body wash is perfect for the season and smells yumm.

The Fuschia shampoo is little expensive for the price, but I haven’t tried haircare from this brand, so looking to trying that out.

Green Coffee is meant to boost metabolism and aid in weight loss and improve stamina, so you can try these sachets and see if you notice any difference, before investing in the bigger size.

Rest are small samples, the Omorfee toner looks interesting though considering it has sour honey, lavender, cucumber, rose, etc.

Overall, I would say I am pretty impressed and do recommend this month’s box. The total value of the products in the box comes to around Rs.2000/-

It’s a pretty floral print bag and quite thick and sturdy. Goes perfect with the Spring Theme

Sugar’s new launch, the Compact Powder is a part of this month’s bag and you get the full sized compact. It comes in 3 shades and I chose the mid shade 02 Cappuccino. I like the matte black packaging, it’s quite sturdy. It comes with a sponge and a mirror.

Ayorma Exfoliating Scrub looks a little abrasive, I won’t use it for my face. But if you use walnut based scrubs, you will like it.

I loved the Hedonista Fresh Face Scrub with Strawberry and Coconut extracts. Smells refreshing and nice, this one is mild enough to be used on the face.

Sand for Soapaholics soap looks really pretty and again coconut based. Spring theme has all coconut based products, so apt.

Total value of all the products in this month’s bag comes to around Rs.1300/- I would have liked one more product in the bag ideally.

March 2017 My Envy Box Review & Unboxing

I got the March My Envy Box today, and after the previous Feb box, I was hoping they would step up their game and they did!

The theme for this month is ‘Relax. Renew. Refresh’. I quite liked the outer box packaging too.

Products I got:

  • Essence Lip Liner – Full size – Rs.129/- (1g)
  • Neemli Coffee & Cocoa Body Wrap- Full size- Rs.550/- (75g)
  • Wikka Beauty Potion- Full size- Rs.700/- (15g)
  • Eyova Hair Oil- Full size- Rs.590/- (50ml)
  • All Good Scents Rose & Jasmine- 2ml vials
  • Gardner Street Tea Glow- 3 sachets

I am so glad they have added 4 full sized products this time. And also all 6 products are an interesting mix from tea to perfume to body wrap and one makeup product.

Essence lip liners would be in red, nude and pink. I got the red one and I don’t mind. It would work with all red lipsticks.

Neemli makes very good body products and this is a full sized body wrap, quite excited to try this one.

Wikka has aromatherapy products and this is a face moisturizer with Aloe vera, Avocado and Patchouli and Chamomile essential oil, I would be trying this tom onwards. Smells really good!

All Good Scents makes good perfumes, I wish they had included small 5ml/10ml bottles. Even one 10ml would do instead of 2 small vials. Considering they are not pricey, slightly bigger samples are better.

Lastly we have the Eyova Hair oil, this has egg yolk extracts and I have heard mixed reviews about this one. Some love it and some hate it. I am not sure if I will use this as I am a vegetarian, also the egg smell is pretty strong of this one. I might give it a try or give it to a friend.

Overall the box has products of value above Rs.2000/- and I am pretty happy with everything. Highly recommend this month’s box 🙂

March 2017 Fab Bag Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

So as it’s 1st of the month, I got my March Fab Bag today. I know all of you are always excited about the Fab Bag unboxing, so I try and do it as soon as possible.

The theme for this month is ‘Go Get It, Girl’

It’s a dusty purple/burgundy colored bag, they had given an option to choose the bag too this month, out of this March bag and two previous Fab Bags, I went with this as I already had those and wanted something new. I love the color and the criss cross textured pattern

Products I got:

  • Seduction Las Vegas Lipstick 06 Nude Love- (Full size) : Rs.180/-
  • Sugar Tip Tap Toe Nail Lacquer 003 Burn Your Beiges (Full size) : Rs.199/-
  • Kronokare Flower Powder Face Toner – 55ml
  • Moha Herbal Shower Gel- 30ml
  • Ayorma SPF 40 Sun Block- 10g
  • Natural Bath & Body Beautiful Day Body Mist- 50ml

Though there are 6 products this time, the Ayorma one is a small sample, but I am glad they didn’t include that and give only 5 products.

I had the option to choose the shade in the Seduction Lipstick out of 4 shades, and I went with this Nude Love. I love this pinky brown color, perfect for everyday wear. There were reds too in the options, if you would like that.

I have tried Moha Herbal products before and quite like them, looking forward to this shower gel. It smells very citrusy and refreshing, perfect for summers.

I am glad they included the new Sugar launch i.e. the nail paint in this month’s box. I wasn’t expecting it, though would have loved a color option in that. I would have preferred a brighter, fun summer color.

The Kronokare Face Toner looks the most interesting to me, I like the spray bottle, would be using it from today. Kronokare makes chemical free, natural products and some of them are pretty unique and nice. I have some high expectations from this toner.

The Ayorma Sun Block is SPF 40 and has a herbal smell, let’s see how this one works. But a pretty tiny sample though, 20-30g would have been nice.

And lastly, the Natural Body Mist. Absolutely love the smell of this! It’s floral and summery, a lily-jasmine like mix.

The total value of the products comes to around Rs.700-725

Overall I would say it’s an ok bag comparing the prices of the products as none of the products/samples are expensive. You can go for it if you would like to try these.

Feb 2017 My Envy Box Review & Unboxing

Hi guys,

I got the Feb My Envy Box today, the product card which as the theme name was missing in my box. But I saw it online, it’s the Indo-French Edition theme, so there are Indian and French brands in here.

Products I got:

  • L’Oreal Paris Magique Bold Kajal
  • Avene Micellar Water sample
  • Gulnare Gold Dust Highlighter
  • Votre Face Serum

There are 2 Indian and 2 French brands (Considering L’Oreal as a French brand)

I have already tried the Votre Face Serum, I had received it in one of my Fab Bag last year. I have two full sized Avene Micellar Water bottles and it’s pretty good. This though is a small sample size, good enough to travel with.

Gulnare Gold Dust Highlighter is a jar full of gold wax kind of thing. I can’t understand the base, but it gives a soft, gold glow. It’s very sheer though. Good for the body.

I do not expect L’Oreal Paris kajal in My Envy Box as it’s supposed to be a luxury box with luxury brands, also this is something which is available anywhere and everywhere, it is not even an international brand.

I did not like this month’s My Envy Box, even though there are three full sized products, none is interesting. I don’t recommend it.

Last month’s box was so good! I had really high expectations :/
