L’Oreal Paris – Femina Women Awards in association with Rasvihar
This March L’oreal Paris in association with Femina India is raising a toast to the women who have inspired us all. The most admired and loved women in art, music, education, business, film and various other fields, will be honored at the first ever L’Oreal Paris – Femina Women Awards in association with Rasvihar.
The Logo and Trophy for the awards have been inspired by the Tangram: a puzzle made of seven pieces of a square that can be rearranged in an endless array of forms. Perfect, considering they have always celebrated the many and myriad facets of women with our tagline, ‘For All The Women You Are’.
This prestigious award function will be held on 22nd March, 2012 at the ITC Grand Central, Mumbai.
Living up to their tagline ‘For All The Women You Are’ they will commemorate at these awards the bold women who are going out and building a brave new world for themselves.

Women’s Achievers Awards by Young Environmentalists Programme Trust at Rodas hotel, Hiranandani Gardens Powai
I was invited to attend the Women’s Achievers Awards by YEP at Rodas Ecotel. The event always happens on or around Women’s Day. YEP recognizes both the achievements of women and the leadership that women provide. By recognizing the outstanding achievements of women the Young Environmentalists not only provide role models but also encourage the community to nominate women for honour.
Says Elsie Gabriel, Founder President of the Young Environmentalists programme trust, “We have recognized leading women who have made a positive difference in the community and stood out as enigmatic leaders. Many have made grass root level efforts, others have campaigned nationwide, some have contributed to policy making decisions by the government and some simply have gone all out to garner public support with out a flinch, none the less all have devoted time and effort in making our world a better place for others!”
